Based on who we had last year, we got more size and speed now. You might be judging us based on when we played you guys or the bowl, but we were down to our 2nd team by then. The past TC didn’t even finish the season bc he was injured, but he’s by far our most consistent corner.
We would have been in bigger trouble if we didn’t get some bodies out, and new bodies in we were just too short on the outside, and big WRs were killing us.

Not just him, although he is a big get. We also picked up Florida's best corner (although he started at nickle for them this year), Kansas' best corner, and UAB's star corner. We have our best corner returning (he was hurt end of last year), and three very young guy who had to play last year as freshmen despite not being ready. So, basically, we have all of our guys from last year, plus our best corner who had been hurt, plus three other starting corners. I mean - it can't be worse!

I am never sure what to think of transfer portal rankings, but there is a list of the Top 25 available CBs on 247.
