Nick Harvey - commit
Hoza Scott - likely to commit when his season ends
Tony Brown - 50/50

Been a long time since that happened.

Congrats but it's a long way til NSD 2014. Still, I would love to see you guys pull even or pass UTx in terms of recruiting and national reputation.

Is he really one of the top guys in TX?

This one has a long way to go. I still like LSU's chances.

Aggie lock according to everything I've seen, and may be the #2 guy behind Brown.

Nick Harvey will likely be top 10, no worse than top 15.

I'm not buying top 3.

Still a huge get for us though. We've had so much trouble recruiting on that side of the ball for so long now, it's exciting to see defensive studs jumping on board.

Gotcha.

No doubt.

I said in another thread that Harvey was a guy I would have liked at LSU, but not one that we couldn't fill his spot with similarly talented guys. The difference now is that before, he may have ended up at UT or OU, now he's a guy we'll have to face.

That's what is going to make LSU's recruiting efforts in TX more interesting going forward. It used to be if we missed a guy, there was almost no chance that it came back to bite us.

Is anyone surprised by this?

TAMU is on the rise and in the SEC. High schoolers see it.

Paris is as good as anyone in Texas.

I'd be really happy with Paris and Brown.

Brown is apparently very interested in going to the same school as his sister - probably going to be A&M or LSU. A&M has come out of nowhere in his recruitment

Maybe not top 3 but definitely in the upper echelon. I think he is widely considered to be one of the most ATHLETIC players and probably more versatile than Tony Brown. Both are great players.

LSU looks good on Brown but I don't think this one is anywhere close to being done.

If you told me that LSU would get Paris and Brown and that A&M would get Harvey and Scott, I would take that every day of the week.

Push come to shove I think Harvey would probably be right there with Brown on every list and only slips a few spots due to the height difference.

I also think that even though Paris and Brown are studs, Scott is probably the best in the state, kid is an absolute BEAST.

It is shaping up to be a great recruiting year.

I really think A&M is going to get Brown and Scott, which along with Harvey is going to cause a major stir. We are supposedly in it for Kannon as well.

DT may be the only position we really need to leave the state for in '14.

Rumor is Tony's sister is going to A&M to run track. Down to Texas, A&M, and LSU. If so, A&M has a much better chance than most realize.

He said he wanted to go where his sister went or that it would be a big reason to attend the same school.

Did Hamm start that rumor? Sounds like BS

There was a legit quote in a Texags interview. He did say it was an important factor but not the deciding factor for him.

The quote was from him. We all knew he wanted to play in the SEC now he has a chance to stay in Texas and do it. It's going to be difficult for LSU to pull him now.

I still say beloved and tiny end up at LSU. Lets not forget his big connection to brick Haley. A&M is flashy right now, but so was Gus's and Petrino's. after they lost leadership on the line they toppled. I feel a&M is in the same boat.

Ed Paris not even in your Top 3? He's the #1 player on 247.
