Gladly. Outside of the anomaly that was 2020, for a multitude of reasons, A&M has been 2-2 by week 4 in both 2018 and 2019 under Jimbo Fisher.

It would take a lot , and I mean A Lot with that schedule, for that to happen this season but what in the past two years has gone to plan?

I’m saying A&M has near ZERO room for failure if you hope to pull recruits like Mathews.

You don’t have the clout or trophy case to back up like your division rivals do.

Do you think having Clemson on the schedule on the first 4 weeks contributed to 2-2 2 years in a row?

Everything has gone to plan. The talent is being built up, hitting on under the radar recruits (ainias smith, wyrdemeyer etc), winning games.

The only knock on fisher at this point would be that he hasn’t done well against bama but not many schools have. And he’s doing all this at a school that hasn’t done anything in over 2 decades.

Maybe, but his interview certainly doesn't indicate that. Most kids don't care as much about old trophies as much as where they think they can win a trophy. It's the direction of the program kids care about.

More than that though, he talked A LOT about coaches in his interview. His relationship with Fisher and with Elko. He can feel about as certain as anywhere that those will be his coaches for his career at A&M. LSU? How many coordinators has Ed O burned through? What are the odds he is even the coach in 2 or 3 years?

I don't see him as an Aggie lock by any means but acting like he will just go to LSU because he is from Louisiana and LSU won a title a few years ago and one when he was in Kindergarten isn't likely to be the end of it. LSU has a lot of positives but they also have a lot of questions about what the future looks like even if many Tigers don't see it.

Yall will be lucky to hold on to Elko after this season if yall have the year yall are expecting. No way he's there throughout the time Jacoby is on a college campus

Probably true about Elko. He will be a head coach as soon as he decides to be. Our only chance of holding on to him is if he wants to wait on a big job. Hopefully, he is making enough money to wait on the perfect opportunity.

But you would have to admit your DC is a total unknown. I can't even remember his name. Not saying he is not good, just saying he is not exactly a household name.

Elko and the LSU DC will both have stacked rosters. We will know which one is better soon enough.

So it took a pandemic, opt outs, and +positive Covid tests to finish with a decent season?

At the same time LSU starts the year In Pasadena on likely prime time TV, and the most difficult games are in TS save Alabama. LSU tends to play better in TDS than most teams.

There are a lot of unknowns, but LSU is set to have the highest paid athlete in NIL. Something that will speak volumes to recruits when in NIL negotiations.

And yet the season doesn’t count to eligibility because even the NCAA knew how much a clusterfrick it was.

Not everyone dealt with replacing top 3 round draft picks/starters. No, not even close. This isn’t an excuse for LSU. Teams like Al were hungry after being shut out of the playoffs for the first time, and thus they had 0 opt outs. Other teams were in for lackluster seasons or had a sure fire 1st rounder opt out to protect his future. Not EVERY team even in the top 10 dealt with that.

So saying it’s an excuse every team dealt with isn’t correct.

You’re now making excuses for your excuses.

On and on and on… for a total of 15-20 seconds lol

I think A&M is doing more work at the moment but, LSU will ultimately have the last say in this recruitment. It’ll be very close

Did we face different circumstances than every other team in college football? What am I missing?

You started the season last year on CBS and gave up 630 yards passing to a 3-7 Mississippi State team

How much of her $$ comes from the fact that’s she’s a hot chick? Put a dude in her situation and you honestly expect him to make as much?

Bama literally cherry pick 5 stars out of Louisiana so not sure what you are talking about. But its Bama so who cares. A&M on the other hand has not, and if they are pulling a 5 star defensive recruit from Lousiana away from LSU, then I would say you guys are pretty ****ed.

Nick hasn't gotten a 5 star out of LA since Dylan Moses, 6 recruiting classes ago.

Before that, He hadn't done it since 2014.

In fact, Nick Saban has signed 3 total 5 stars out of Louisiana since he became the head coach at Alabama.

No, you don’t. You win a battle for a North LA recruit every now and then, but that ship sailed. LSU gets the majority of the top talent in LA year in and year out.
