It might very well be misplaced, but lots of A&M folks are feeling pretty confident on Jacoby.

A&M and Bama might pull a few recruits out of Louisiana every so often but LSU owns Louisiana under Orgeron. And as long as they have decent coaching there is enough talent in that state to have damn good football teams.

Interview with Matthews, starts talking recruiting about 1:10 in. Calls A&M and LSU Co-leaders. Says he will wait until signing day. Says he has love for LSU and then goes on and on gushing about A&M and their coaches. Who knows...

Really makes zero difference until he signs that paper. Kid had been 100% LSU, until a few weeks ago. He will be a hard pull to get him out of Louisiana when it's all said and done and he has finished his tour!

I think he’s referring to never winning the west or anything else for that matter. These kids have only been alive for 18 years so they’ve been alive for LSU winning 3 nattys. That stuff matters a little. Not a lot but it does matter.
Btw, to the people saying lsu is losing in state kids . Go look at 247s page and look at the top recruits in Louisiana. Most of the time we offer the top 5 or so guys. Start with this year and go back each year and you tell me what you see
