Care to comment on your statement in the other thread about Ryan Wingo? Still believe this?

Yes. I also think Nwaneri flips his commitment when Mizzou misses on Wingo. I’m not sure he if he goes to LSU or not, but he’s not going to Mizzou. I think it’s between Texas, aTm and UT really. Would not be surprised if he landed with one of these 3 teams over one of the other 3.

It’s weird because you won’t score half of this year

30-3 is just fine with me. If you break double digits against the Vols I will be surprised. And yes we know you have Burden jr and he’s great. But USCjr had Legette and we held him to his lowest yards on the season with 50yards. Prior to that game Legette low this season was 71yds against UGA. This defense you will see from the Vols, is possibly the best defense you will see all year. Our Dline will dominate your OLine. Just prepare yourself now for it.

Why would you move up your commitment date unless you wanted to start collecting NIL money?

Alas your ignorance of Missouri state law. In state players committing to a Missouri school can get NIL in HIGH SCHOOL as of September this year.

What is stupid is you clearly do not know how the Missouri NIL law works.

Wingo’s a lock!

It’s one thing to commit so you can collect NIL money, and totally another to actually sign with Mizzou. I think Nwarni and Wingo will collect NIL money till they are eligible to sign. Then when it’s time they will decommit from Mizzou and sign with a better team. Once they sign the dotted line then they can collect NIL no matter what team they sign with. Your little NIL law only helps till actual signing day.

I’m ready to see how Mizzou fans act and how the administration acts when it happens.

Man, you’re just spewing shite. Not sure if you are stupid enough to believe what you say, or if you’re just fricking around, but I’d be willing to back my assertion that both will sign with $$ if there was a way. Since there is not, I’d be happy to settle with a ban bet! Whadda say?

Some of the Mizzou people can correct me if I am wrong...but I was under the impression that they cannot start collecting until they actually sign the LOI. Just a commitment does not trigger their ability to collect NIL.

I think that was widely believed at first, but a closer look at the statute enables the recruit to start collecting as soon as he signs “an agreement”. The “agreement” in the statute has subsequently been interpreted to include something as insubstantial as a financial aid agreement. Accordingly no waiting until LOI day.

LOI doesn’t matter in some states. Mizzou law allows it when you sign a financial aid package. Things is, recruits can sign multiple aide packages with multiple schools. Signing a Financial Aid package does not obligate a recruit to sign an LOI, it’s actually been common practice for long time to have a Kid already fill out the FAFSA for each school and go ahead and get them approved so they will know how much they will be getting in grants and other packages before coming to the school.

You are VERY invested in Mizzou not ending up with Nwaneri or Wingo.

You do realize that IF that were to happen they’d have to pay back their paid out NIL funds right??? You are a fricking dope.

Anyway, Wingo commits to Mizzou today. Second 5 star for the class and then we work on several flips.

But to act like losing Lovett was not a big deal seems very odd.

Revisiting this lol.

It wasn’t…at all.

Dom was jealous of Luther. Luther was moving to the slot and we needed outside WR and we got 5 star Theo Wease to fill that role. We are significantly better off as a matter of fact
