3* Jordan Jefferson, with offers from ONLY LSU and Memphis and A&M, signs with A&M

He was offered as a Freshmen in Feb 2017 by Sumlin, and then by LSU a year later. He committed to A&M under Sumlin. He never developed, and he's very probably not a power 5 athlete, but he just signed with A&M. A&M is most certainly going to lose a chance to sign some quality player (Cooper, Hornsby) as a result.
By all accounts, Jimbo and staff tried to convince Jordan to pursue some other possibilities, but Jordan remained determined to play for A&M. So, Jimbo sent him a LOI, and Jordan signed it this morning.
I'm glad we have a trustworthy man - a man who can be counted on to honor the commitments that A&M made to young men - leading the A&M football program.

"Once a player has committed to me, I never go back. I don't drop guys. I have children. When I make that commitment to you, I'm going to stay there."

Sometimes character means more than trying to gain just one more edge. We get wrapped up in winning at all costs but forget these are real people too.

As far as I can tell, no aggy poster has even mentioned LSU in this thread. (Except for when I pointed out that only A&M and Memphis and LSU has offered Jefferson.)

When discussing the offers only, but clearly it was not a committable one in 2019.
