Just a thread to keep up with and talk about the portal. It's as important as HIS recruiting these days.

Texas should have two going out and your link is broken. Here is the right link.

Fixed. Thank you for letting me know. I'll try to keep this updated

I’ll be interested to see if Jaheim Oatis works out elsewhere. Saban offered him in the 8th grade. Had a very impactful freshmen season. Nothing since. I don’t think he played more than 10 snaps this season before sitting out.

He can be a game changer when he wants to be.

Did he just get lazy? I thought he was going to be a beast.

Thanks for this! You might get pretty busy keeping this current

Last year was injury. This year word was he just doesn’t turn it on enough but the potential is there. He just has to want it.

Mods need to pin this or create a special Transfer Portal forum.

With the transfer portal window tightened this winter — down to just 20 days — players need to make their choice to stay or leave before the postseason begins. The players have to announce early to begin the pre-marketing and placement on media lists.

Supposedly heading to Ole Miss.

A&M link is broke as well, here is a good one LINK
They show 7, it is actually 10 as of this morning.
OL - Aki Ogunbiyi
DL - Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy
QB - Conner Weigman
WR - Cyrus Allen
TE - Jaden Platt
QB - Jaylen Henderson
DE - Malick Sylla
DT - Samu Taumanupepe
DE - Enai White
OL - Hunter Erb
We appear to be in the running for a couple highly rated WRs.

Missouri has 15 in so far:
Kevin Coleman. WR1 for Miss St in 2024. 74 REC 932 Yards this past season. We have lots of depth in the receiver room but he's a no brainer, and a Missouri kid returning home.
He played against Missouri this past season and will face Mississippi State in 2025.
Really big get for Missouri.
Santana Banner Starting S for NIU in 2024, 54 Tackles, 1.5 TFL, 4 PD, FF, INT
He had tons of offers in the portal, slides in nice to replace Roche's spot in the class balance. I'm not sure if he's a coverage guy, box guy or both. Misouri uses a lot of looks with LB/S hybrids, one of our safeties got drafted as an LB last year.
Mikai Gbayor Starting LB for NU, 49 Tackles, 3 PD, 1 Sack,
Another highly sought after addition, we lost most of our snaps at LB. Will easily slot right in the rotation
Josiah Trotter Starting LB for WVU 93 Tackles 2 PD 1 INT
Breakout RS FR from West Virginia, balances the LB room and sets it up for a couple of years,
Langden Kitchen DE out of NW Missouri St. had offers from Iowa, Wisconsin and Kansas. 6'6 265 so big guy, Missouri fans will probably expect him to be the DE version of Cody Schrader but he will probably redshirt his first year, but idk we will probably get at least one more DE in the portal.
Ahmad Hardy Basically a slightly bigger version of Lacy that ran for 1300+ yards, mostly after contact at ULM, the beauty of the portal. Slots right in classwise to replace him
Mose Phillips III Sophmore starting safety at VT, will slot right into the rotation. We had 3 safeties graduate and 1 more kicked off team, can add 4 more easy without anyone getting mad, we usually rotate about 6 safeties and they all get a lot of snaps.
Dominick Giudice Started some games at OL for Michigan should fit a lot better in our offense and is more depth since our Center is having ACL surgery
Keagen Trost Started 12 games for Wake Forest across the line played 766 snaps, should slot in as a starter, can play RT or guard.
Nate Johnson One of the Top Edge's in the Portal from App State had offers from everywhere. Gives us a second guy at the Joker position I think, a backup/rotation with Darris Smith who was supposed to be a big part of our defense last year and we didn't have any personnel who could play the position effectively. Big time system get for us.
Beau Pribula Was the QB in waiting for Penn State and bolted when theirs returned for next season. Big get for us.
Johnny Williams IV RSFR at WV that they were prepping to start at that position for next seasons. LT probable. We lost 3 guys on the line, bringing 3 in makes sense.
Some punter a punter from stanford
Stephen Hall CB coming in to push Toriano Pride for the starting job on that side and just make sure we have depth at CB this year. Norwood is a lock on the other side. Gives us 2 deep at CB basically
Jalen Catalon[b]Safety out of UNLV. Missouri has had like 6 safeties the past couple years with over 300 snaps each so not a surprise we went and got another really good one, we can never have enough in our system.
Missouri has 9 out:
[b]Philip Roche - Young, cracked the rotation already, albeit at the bottom, hits hard. Presusmably was kicked off the team or left the team due to unwillingness to face discipline for multiple speeding tickets/missed court dates. Dangerous speeding tickets like doubling up the limit in residential zone type shite. 3 to play 2 years left
So he's a Georgia lock probably.
Williams Nwaneri - 2024 #1 Edge. Our two other 2024 DE commits ended up playing more than he did, but he's got a lot of talent. 4 years left
Jaylen Brown - 2024 Edge, probably following Baker to LSU. He's not able to recruit as good as talent down there, so he's dipping back into his old stock. 4 to play 3 years left
Mekhi Miller - WR 3 catches 35 yards this year, got passed up, solid possession WR. 1 Year left
Brayshawn Littlejohn - Back up LB, 5 tackles in cupcake games this season. Solid but got passed up by two true freshman this year, and we'll probably bring in 1 or 2 transfers. 3 years left
Aidan Glover - was 4th string QB this past season 4 years left. believe he his a dual threat type, but drink always likes pocket first.
Kewan Lacy Looked good this year but still slated to be the 3rd back next year behind Jamal Roberts and a tranfser. It's kid like this that are hardest to keep. He'd probably get like 40-50 carries for us next year but he could start on a team with no current RB room. 100% makes sense for a kid like this to shop for $$$ and playing time (they go together)
Courtney Crutchfield Depth wide receiver, was set for another developmental year with maybe a smattering of targets
Jaren Sensabaugh Similar to Crutchfield. Depth CB, other CBs of the same age were seeing more time and we brought in transfer reinforcements so he was facing more competition than he was expecting.
All our back up kickers and punters and a couple back up long snappers are leaving not bothering to list them.
Drink likes to recruit guys that will be ready for the 3rd year so other teams are snagging our 2nd year guys, we'll see how that works out for them.
I'll try to keep it updated.
