Lol what? I have one other post on this board in the past 2+ weeks. Looks like I hit too close to home...

I have to give Kirby credit, he's driving some SEC fans insane. Auburn fans are now completely obsessed with UGA, which isn't all that unexpected since UGA owns them in football. But now some of the LSU fans are sounding almost as insecure, which is very odd, coming immediately after winning a true playoff NC. But, like they say, trolling is the sincerest form of flattery.

Who said anything about the last two weeks. The only thing hitting close to home is you trash talking in UGA threads on the recruiting board

I am sure he is a great young man. Having said that he played in a single A private school league. There is no way that a QB from a single A private high school is the best QB in the country.

Just my opinion.

I mean, you could be right, but Herschel Walker went to a school in the smallest classification Georgia had at the time.

I do agree that a certain amount of skepticism is in order, but with camps etc I think they gurus have a decent shot at seeing the kids against top competition.

Take Trevor Lawrence off Cartersville

Plus Cartersville plays several rings below the top level of football in the state.

My issue isn’t his skills. It’s his health, he had a pretty nasty ankle issue that required the aria surgery. Hopefully it holds up. He lit up some people when he came back, including the state champion defense so looks good so far.

They're in 5a which is still a tough division though.

And much stronger than the Private school division.

Hey, I have some reservations. but, I'll take him all day long. I tend to trust the coaches and recruiting sites. Do they make mistakes? yes. But they are generally much more accurate than the average fan watching recruiting.

TLDR
I agree with you, Porter.

Oh yeah, VG is still a great player despite the teams he faces. But Cartersville has a much tougher schedule and a much better team.

Jumps off the tape that this kid is uber talented.

What i like most, however, is that he sounds like a leader. Great work ethic and toughness and plenty of charisma. He's the kind of kid who recruits other kids - perfect centerpiece for a #1 class.

Not sure who is going to be better between him and Williams (might even lean towards Williams) , but with Brock committing this early I'm sure the 21' class will likely be better.

LSU fans do post a lot about UGA. The obsession is strange for sure.

If he's the key piece to getting Mims, he's even more substantial. Saban apparently is headed to Cochran today to see Mims, and Clemson/LSU will be coming soon as well.

I'll take a 5* QB on his own, but I won't complain if he helps a 5* OT make up his mind.

"He's gonna transfer. We'll get someone better"

It's like the kid whose neighbor gets a nice new bicycle.

"Somebody will steal it from you. My dad will buy me a better one soon".

Whether either of those comes true or not, that's insecurity.
