It’s rare (relative to other positions) that QB’s decommit in the first place. Doing it twice would be really surprising.

Good deal! Congrats UGA. He’s perfect for that pro-style system too.

I wonder what this does to Caleb Williams and Gunner Stockton

He's MUCH less pro-style than you might think. Kid had over 1,000 yards rushing and a ton of rushing TDs to add to the passing. He's very much mobile. Not to mention, I think you've already seen the change to the offense. We don't appear to be going the straight pocket-passer route any longer.

Caleb is likely to LSU. Stockton will be at USCe unless something major changes there (Boom and Bobo being gone after this year?). Tough to believe, but true.

Retweeted a post that said "Looks like LSU and Oklahoma are indeed going to be the leaders for Caleb now!"

UGA had to take Brock if he was ready to pull the trigger.

Yep. Caleb was a pipe dream and a risk to decommit, IMHO. I don't really think we were ever that far into it for him. Same seems to be true with Stockton.

But the composite has him number 1

Oh god yeah. You don’t pass on the best QB in the country. Especially one that lives literally 15 min away

Do they, now? I admit, it's weird how this works, but your link literally says he's #1 at his position.

Stockton is as close to a lock as you can get to South Carolina...if they retain their coaching staff.

The numbers you circled are the composite rankings I believe. The poster tried to bring up the 24/7 ranking to avoid the composite where Brock is ranked #1. Either way he's ahead of Bailey, so it really doesn't matter.

Composite vs 247 specific. 247 Pro Style still only has him as their 3rd option... Ultimately, we've generally deferred to composite as the approved ranking for non-noob posters.

Frequently alternative option accepted for brag posts is whichever gives your team the best "value".

I am sure he is a great young man. Having said that he played in a single A private school league. There is no way that a QB from a single A private high school is the best QB in the country.

Just my opinion.

He does camps alongside your 7A QBs in front of coaches and recruiting analysts.

It isnt just watching a high school game that builds the rankings

There’s definitely a way.

Take Trevor Lawrence off Cartersville and send him to Prince Avenue a few years ago. He doesn’t somehow significantly change as a player because of that.
