24/7 has us as his leader right now. How many WRs are we looking to take?

He looks like a pretty good catch for either team. Thanks for sharing.

Would be awesome to land him. We're gonna take 3 WRs, and I think the coaches are trying to get 2 big WRs and a smaller, speedy WR. Gibson fits that mold, and Robinson is one of the big WRs. If we can get Isaiah Jones or DeAndre Woods, we'd be done at WR

But just to be clear, I would predict Ohio St right now.

I would also. Only because Urbs is the best brainwasher in the business.

You really think so? With the two coming in this year, we'll have 10(I'm including Uzomah as a WR) and 8 in '13 with Stallworth and Blake graduating this year. I guess it just depends on the #'s for this upcoming class.

We also lose Benton. i get that Benton and Stallworth haven't done much to date, but losing 3 bodies will hurt depth and the coaches are looking to replace that depth with quality depth.

Quarterback is the most intriguing position that we are recruiting this year in my opinion. We have a lot of offers out for quarterbacks and I am wondering how many are committable at this point.

Forgot about him. I counted him in the total, but didn't even think about him leaving. I hope he can finally put it all together this year.

That isn't hard to do, he has been very forgetful so far in his career. I would love to see him finally break and break all these records that Trooper praised him to do but I just don't have faith in it happening.

The top targets are Max Browne, Cody Thomas, Cooper Bateman, Hayden Rettig, and Jeremy Johnson. Jason Smith is on that list too because we'll most likely tell him that he'll have a shot to play QB, but he's bound to move to WR or DB.

Realistically the only I can say for sure that has a committable offer is Smith; but that is because he's an ATH and is only a token QB recruit. I'm sure they'd most likely take a commitment from Browne for example if he wanted to commit; but since three of those kids are national recruits and haven't visited campus yet it is impossible to really guess which ones we actually have a shot at. I also think that they're employing more of a wait-and-see approach with Rettig with regards to his injury.

I don't know if this is football only but thought I'd share that Jordon Granger an Auburn 2012 signee for basketball, had 26 points and 16 rebounds in route to McLuer North's back to back Missouri State Title's tonight.

He was the teammate of BJ Young and they won it all last year as well.

Be fun to watch them play each other for a year.

Our class this year is pretty solid. Barbee found a lot of scorers.

2013 Auburn Recruiting Thread: Commits, Visits, Hot Prospects, etc...I agree with you abt pike. I ran into him at Bourbon abt a month ago. He's a total doosher, but that being said Auburn didn't recruit him to be a nice guy. He's a high risk high reward type of player. After seeing Moseley's confidence go to total shite, something can be said abt a player who has a rather large ego.

Funny bc all the AU fans last year were saying what a great recruiter he was for you guys. Def. the most vocal i wont argue with that. Kids with a high ego can be a real lockerroom divider. A perfect example of this is Chris Sims at Texas a few years back. Most times the Major Applewhites of the world, though less mechanically talented, are just better for the overall success of the team. Especially in college ball.

No offense to you, Martyr, but i'd love for the Pike debate to be shelved until he at least takes a practice snap.
