I do agree though that it is comical that some of these kids name top schools a month after verbally committing to one of them. I think the commitment is just a CYA effort with the numbers crunch that goes on everywhere these days.

Dawgnight is in July, but not sure exact dates yet. I wanna say it was after The Opening last year? But not positive
And yes, I was talking about RN earlier. Henry is going to be another UGA/Bama battle if he decommits, but nothing else. Bama is just telling him everything he wants to hear right now, and I'm sure it's the novelty of it coming from the defending National Champs that has him interested. has to be getting a little boring sitting on the sidelines as a commit for so long. I'm not going to panic yet, at least not until he visits Bama

UGA certainly still wants Henry, but if he decommits, then they will be fine at RB. Georgia will always produce RBs. They have Dye on speed dial, and well, one other that I am hearing fairly good things about. And while Jones is saying the right things, people behind the scenes seem to think he is less than thrilled with the development.

I dont think Jones haas anything to worry about. Henry will never play RB for Bama.

Henry has stated time and again that he at least wants the chance to play RB...would Saban really tell one kid "Oh yeah, we'll give you a chance to play running back" while telling another recruit "No, don't worry, he'll never play running back for us"?

Obviously no...Saban isn't stupid and I don't think any coach would stoop that low, but Henry wants to be brought in as a running back.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Saban tell Geno Smith that he was the only CB they were looking at and then turned right around and picked up Blue from JUCO?
