I don't know what page it is on, but I did an analysis on a QB from Louisiana, Damien Williams, a few days ago. Look at my post history to find it. He could be a steal down the road if we miss on the other guys.

I thought Barron at 7 was a good pick. I'm one that feels if a player is close to that slot and is the player you want then take him. It's not like Barron was going to fall much past 7. He's the best S in the draft and if you really want him then why risk dropping down further and losing out on him. Good pick imo.
TideSaint, you like Williams? Has a ton of physical tools but is just so inconsistent with his accuracy. Has a cannon and is pretty athletic but needs a lot of coaching. Reminds me of a more athletic, less polished passing version of what Philip Sims was supposed to be. I'd have to think he'd be way down Bama's board at QB. Definitely a good project for a 2nd qb in a class. If he puts it all together with his physical tools, he could be a steal.

Yeah I like Williams. Like you said, he has a cannon for an arm, but what really stands out to me are his mechanics. Zero wasted motion, smooth delivery, and great footwork. He may not have prototypical size, but he can sling it.
Again, I wouldn't make him my first choice in this class, but if Bama misses out on Bateman and Allen, I would like to see Williams get an offer.

Thanks. Size for a college qb isn't a major factor for me. For the NFL sure but not college. Most college defenses aren't good enough to scheme a short qb out of a game. Just roll him out or scheme passing windows with the routes.

No. I assume it's As the Plains Burns, but seeing as how it's moved to the Deep Web there is no way of knowing. This thread should reach 1,000 pages easily. That's got to eclipse anything on TD.

If we maintain our current pace we won't even come close to that.
