Any team that drafts him has to use a 7th rounder on Maynard

Am I the only one who is greatly amused by the fact that pretty much every analyst, former player, etc. who has weighed in on Tampa picking Barron thinks it's a great pick while all the dipshit LSU and Auburn fans are saying it was a terrible pick because he is the most overrated player in history?

No. I love it too. Speaking of which, off to bump a thread on the MSB.

I also like Stephen Hill, 49ers REEEAAALLY screwed that pick up with him still on the board

AJ Jenkins was moving up, at least one team that was asked had him ranked higher than Michael Floyd.

He's less of a project than Hill and Randle, and probably the 2nd best deep threat in the draft behind Kendall Wright.

Plus Harbaugh is the reincarnation of Bill Walsh, who thought giving players round grades was silly...

He has said stuff like that on Twitter before and people thought he was about to transfer, but it was about something completely unrelated.

I will believe it when I see it. After seeing Ryan fricking Tannehill and the Geriatric QB get taken in the first round, I'd say the chances of AJ going pro after this season are pretty high. That would give Sims two years to start for a team that will be absolutely beyond stacked in 2013 and 2014.

His girlfriend has went apeshit on a lot of Bama fans/Bama "newsources" for retweeting it.

And she's not wrong for doing so...

TUSCALOOSA _ According to sources close to the situation, quarterback Phillip Sims has decided to leave the University of Alabama.

He’s expected to transfer to a school closer to his home state of Virginia.

Sims’ departure leaves Alabama with only one quarterback with game experience, Phillip Ely as the backup quarterback and incoming true freshman Alec Morris.

Sims, one of the nation’s top-rated quarterbacks out of Oscar Smith High School, completed with A.J. McCarron for the starting job last spring and fall, and the two split time in the season opener against Kent State before coaches decided to stick with McCarron against Penn State.

Overall, he played in eight games last season and completed 18 of 28 passes, including two interceptions. He redshirted in 2010.

Despite being limited by a sore shoulder, he helped lead the White team, which included the second-string offense, to a 24-15 victory in the recent A-Day Game. He was 9-fof-12 for 135 yards and two touchdowns, a 50-yard catch-and-run to running back T.J Yeldon and a 44-yard scoring pass to Chris Black.

247Sports rated Sims the nation’s top pro-style quarterback in the recruiting class of 2010, No. 39 overall and second among prospects from Virginia.
