I'm not even wanting to land him because he's a tremendous prospect. I want to see the meltdown if he does flip.

Too bad he'll already be enrolled at an Alabama high school, working to enroll early at UA.

Four-star prospect Ethan Pocic recently visited Alabama during his whirlwind road trip that has stopped at Auburn, Florida, Florida State and Tennessee and he was impressed by what he saw.
"It was a good visit," Pocic said. "I had a good time with the coaches."
Pocic visited Tuscaloosa on Tuesday and said he got to meet UA coach Nick Saban and offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland during his visit and walked away with a better understanding of the pair of coaches. He described Stoutland as straight-forward and Saban as intense, something he is familiar with and likes.
"My coaches in high school were intense," Pocic said. "But every coach is different."
He said he like that the Crimson Tide is a powerhouse and may return to Tuscaloosa this summer for Alabama's football camp. During his visit, he toured the Crimson Tide's facilities, sat in on an offensive line meeting and also met Alabama's fiery strength and conditioning coach, Scott Cochran.
Pocic described himself as aggressive and tenacious and said his biggest strengths are his athleticism and how quickly he can move.
He said he would like to improve his strength because there is always room to improve in that area.
"I'm not positive what offense I'm going to play in," Pocic said. "But I'm excited."
Pocic said he didn't grow up rooting for anyone and he kept an eye on his prospective teams during the 2011 football season. He watched a lot of Big 10 and SEC games, including following Alabama for the entire season.
Having received offers from 29 different schools, Pocic's long string of visits isn't over. After visiting several southern schools, he also plans to make a stop at Ohio State before he is all over. He wasn't ready to say if any of the visits stood out to him and said he enjoyed all the places he has visited so far. He said he has no favorites at this time and has not set a time table for his decision.
"I don't know," Pocic said. "I will make my decision when the time feels right."

There's a Tesla coil band at California Tech that covers popular songs using the coils.

I started a thread on the guys getting GA spots, but an Aggie in meltdown mode took that over quick.

I figured they would use Argon gas to direct the coils, but it doesn't look like they did.

LEEDS | One of the hottest topics among Alabama fans of late involves the commitment status of 2013 phenom O.J. Howard.
Howard committed to the Crimson Tide last July, and has since seen his stock skyrocket after his camp circuit. He blew up at the Under Armour Underclassmen Combine in Orlando, followed by a Nike Sparq outing earned him an invitation to The Opening this summer. Last Saturday he again turned heads with his outstanding play at the Rivals VTO Combine at Leeds High School.
Those performances have had the by-product of putting Howard on every major program's radar, including in-state school, Auburn.
Howard addressed where he stood in his commitment to Alabama to TideSports.com after the combine on Saturday.
"I'm pretty strong to Alabama right now," Howard said. "Auburn's coming around, though. Right now, I'm going to Alabama. Me and coach (Nick Saban), and everybody up there, we're pretty close. Right now I'm pretty solid to Alabama."
Howard said he is intrigued by how Auburn plans to use the 6-foot-5, 221-pound physical specimen. He is likewise interested in Alabama's success and offensive game plan, including what new Crimson Tide offensive coordinator, Doug Nussmeier, has in store.
"Alabama has told me a little bit," Howard said. "I've come up there and watched film with the new offensive coordinator, Doug Nussmeier. He's new, but I think he has the same kind of offense as Coach (Jim) McElwain. So there's nothing new really for Alabama.
"Auburn is just talking about motion and things like that. That was pretty cool."
Howard's commitment will be argued from now until National Signing Day 2013. What are not up for debate, however, is his athleticism and his character.
Howard routinely dominated one-on-one match-ups at the combine, looking more like a wide receiver than a tight end at times. He even made the catch of the camp, pulling in a one-handed grab while falling down over a defensive back.
What is also noteworthy of Howard's day was the fact that he was there at all. Howard is committed to the defending national champions and virtually every school in the country knows of his talent. He has no need for added exposure. Even still, he chose to come and compete and get better.
"I had fun. It was great competition. I came out here to compete," Howard said. "Anytime I have a chance to compete I love to do it, so that's what I came out here to do today.
"I just love to do it. It's fun, and I love doing it. You can still come out here and have fun and compete even though you have the offers or you've committed."

I imagine since Dee Liner is still going to flip, that should seal the deal with OJ Howard.
