Having said that, tomorrow he will probably commit to fricking Florida or some other team.

Just wanted to pass along that Noles247's Josh Newberg is reporting that no. 1 prospect Robert Nkemdiche could be visiting Florida State this weekend with teammate and Top247 prospect Wayne Gallman.

I hope he's going down there just to powerbomb DC.

Yeah that's what I meant. IMO Browne is going to either USC or Oklahoma due to their passing offenses and they both will lose a top 10 pick at QB next year.

Apparently Dee Liner is no longer making visits to anywhere but Auburn. Just passing this along.

I'm not getting worked up. Hell, I made a joke. I don't know anything about recruiting, and would be the first one to tell ya that.

I spoke with my buddy(Offensive Player) on the team the other day and asked what he was gaining as far as the team this spring so far and if he had any insight he could pass on to me. This is what I got from him. Enjoy.

*AJ McCarron is taking the "LEADERSHIP" role in stride and NOT looking back, He said he IS the Commander of this team and our offense. He is very comfortable and is working very hard to be the best he can be. Said him and the receivers are getting better and better as far as timing and trust. He said the pass will be more of an "Option" on any down next season which will make our offense more of a threat. IMO.Nothing but GREAT things were said on AJ. Ill leave it at that. Great to hear.

*Said as far as Freshmen receivers if he had to pick just one that Amari Cooper has a TON of potential and has been impressive. Great size and his hands are very strong. Overall good athlete all the way around. ( As advertised in the UA game ) He said look for him to get some action.

*KEVIN NORWOOD, everyone knows the name now and he is on the Map from the BCS championship and the catch over the " Honey Badger ". Said the guy is a very hard worker and has great knowledge for the game. Said he would have played a lot more last season, just needed to get his blocking game down as far as being an all-around receiver. Well he got it down and earned his way on the field on the biggest stage. He will have a HUGE season for us and him and AJ are on the same page and he earned his trust in that game. Again watch for Norwood having a huge year for us. RTR.

*He also mentioned Fowler( NUDIE ) has been standing out. Saying for his size he is "putting in work ". Said he will be a standout guy in the form of how Lacy was for us last season. He was very positive speaking on him. Im excited. Said he is a bruiser but is very fast for his size, went on to say he has leaned out too which has improved his burst and quickness.

* In his opinion he said the O-Line should be AGAIN one of the top units in the country. Said they take A LOT of pride in that. Also with B. Jones back that no focus will be lost with him leading the unit. Said AJ should feel really comfortable with these big guys watching his back. Said B. Jones move to center is going well, " The guy is an athlete and can play any of the o-line positions." He said with him at center he feels more of the overall commander of the unit and has been striving to get better and perfect the position.

* I asked if he had to pick a position on the Defense that stood out to him and was impressing which would he be. He said the Linebackers. Said they are very confident and want to keep the " Legacy " of being a strong unit for Alabama going strong. He said they will be fine and actually are more athletic and faster than last seasons. Said they can really cover some ground.

* As far as DB's he said Lester, Fulton, Sunseri, and Milliner have been doing really well. He said Sunseri's football knowledge has elevated his play which got him some experience last season. Said the guy just gets it and has bought in and plays with so much passion. A team favorite for sure. A great team player for us. Said as far as the DB unit there may be some drop off because we did lose some great talent and experience, but that we would be ok. Saban is a master when it comes to have players prepared.

You are correct.

quote:

Liner has been committed to Auburn since last June, but that certainly hasn't stopped other schools, particularly rival Alabama from recruiting Liner extremely hard. Liner confirmed as much this weekend at the Rivals/VTO combines in Birmingham and said he was thinking of visiting Alabama this weekend.

So will he still make that visit?

"I'm not interested," Liner told AuburnSports.com on Thursday. "I'm just not interested at all. I'm not interested in going to Alabama anymore."

When asked if Liner would visit Alabama for the rest of the recruiting process, Liner responded, "nope, I just felt like that was the right thing to do."

"I'm locked in at Auburn," he said.
