Kamara isn't getting an offer from LSU unless we completely miss on our guys at CB. We already have 2 with Brazil and White and still have Jefferson on the board. Of course White or more likely Jefferson could play wr but wr is filling up as well. We have OOS kids on the board that we have a shot with before Kamara is worth an offer. LSU(and Bama) have too much talent and too many talented possibilities to resort to offering carry ons to land one kid. 1 player doesn't make that big a difference on defense. Even if we miss on Nkemdiche(we will), we still have a good shot with Justin Manning, Greg Gilmore and others to compenste at DT. We'll be fine with or without Nkemdiche. Would be great to have him but he's not worth taking a carry on.No one is imo. Of course every school has 20 or so kids every year that will never contribute so the difference isn't a big deal but in the recruiting classes everyone has a fresh start and looks good so the wasted scholarship stands out more than just a guy on the 85 man roster.

Just go to to DR. If you don't know what DR is, then you aren't one of the cool kids

Why would non Bama and LSU fans rather Nkemdiche go to LSU than Bama. It's not like our defense isn't dominating the trenches and producing first round talent.

I think many are still stuck on the "Miles doesn't develop talent" approach. Problem is that's not the case. We could have three(most likely two) Underclassmen drafted in the first round. Those two could be top 10 overall.

Is it picking the lesser of two evils?

I don't think distance will be too huge of a problem. Also how is LSU not a factor when he just named us his leader in three separate interviews? None of which were done by an LSU insider. So the spin approach won't work here.

I still say Bama, but I think Ole Miss is kidding themselves if they think they stand a tiny iota of a chance against recruiting with Bama and LSU ATM.

I had to check out the recruiting board on Dawg Rant. It seems they think we don't even consider Rueben Foster a commitment. What the Hell is that stuff?

From what I read he is secretly committed to UGA, but recruits for Alabama. Richt is such a good guy for having him do that.

As dominating as it may be, we are talking about a whole other level with RN, and to LSUfan, you offer and recruit him to get RN, he is a different level of talent than LSU has ever seen at end.

Miles absolutely surrounds himself with great staff that develops talent, same way with Saban, it is almost never a HC, in Miles case people say that I think because of how talented the area is, just like it is a misconception about how Bama staff is the best at development, in reality they are the best at evaluating for our scheme and the talent level in our state is very underrated. And then the examples I can use about Bama staff being the best evaluators is Hightower, who only had an offer from Vandy, and Tenn kind of caught up and tried to man him at the last minute, when he won 2a back of the year on D, and JuCo guys like Mt Cody and Jesse Williams, DeQuan Menzie.

One question for Memphis and other LSU fans that browse this board...Could you imagine how ungodly it would be to have Jesse as a DT in P&G, and yet he was very quietly recruited out of JuCo, I think the only team with a shot to get him rather than us was Az St if I remember correctly, he basically beat out and forced a transfer (although there were other factors) of one of La's best DT the year he came out with Sentimore. He's a BEAST

And Brockers might go that high but man is he overrated, gonna feel bad for the team that selects him and has to pay him

he's on another level than Marquise Hill, Marcus Spears, and Tyson Jackson? LSU may have 2 first round DEs on the roster right now in Montgomery and Mingo, with Rasco waiting in the wings.

He's a JR high school right?

Kinda like noone wanted Tyrann Mathieu and Mo Claiborne? LSUs gets it's fair share of underrated guys that turn out to be beasts also.

Would he have even played for LSU last year at DT? Maybe not. LSU had a pretty legit DT tandem last season. And if he would have, I can guarantee you he isn't much better than what we had there already.

You bring alot of info to this board and since Bama recruits alot of the same guys as LSU, I read the info that pertains to those guys, but you go full retard homer sometimes.

Jesse Willaims >>>>> Mike Brockers

LSU seems to be making it interesting with RN. He may be more open than some first thought, but I'm not confident at all. Either way it's not going to be over until he signs.

Prattville (Ala.) offensive tackle Austin Golson committed to Florida State the spring before his junior season. That hasn’t stopped teams from pursuing the 6-foot-6, 285-pound blue chip tackle, who has added double-digit offers since committing to the Seminoles.

“I’m hearing a lot from Florida State, Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Southern Cal, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Mississippi State, and stuff like that,” said Golson. “My most recent offers are from Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State. Those came a few weeks ago.”

The Crimson Tide have ramped up their interest in the top 100 offensive tackle, who has formed a good relationship with defensive coordinator Kirby Smart over the past several months.

“I like their program and the way they work hard and stuff like that," Golson noted. "We’ll see what happens. Coach Smart is pretty cool and I know him pretty well.”

Despite the continued attention, Golson remains committed to the Seminoles and notes his relationship with the Florida State coaches as a big factor.

“I went to junior days at Florida State and Auburn. They went pretty good. I’m still committed to Florida State. I have a great relationship with the coaches and it’s a great campus. I’m just looking at the coaching staff and how quick I’ll be able to play and things like that.”

The four-star trenchman recently participated in Atlanta’s Nike Combine, posting an 86.19 SPARQ rating (a very good score for an offensive lineman) along with a 4.61 shuttle and 41 foot powerball toss. The event marks the first of several Golson hopes to hit during the spring and summer.

“I thought it went okay. I thought I was at a little of a disadvantage being an offensive lineman. I’m doing these camps because I want to get better, get my ranking up, prove that I’m better than what I’m ranked, and prove that I deserve it.”

Golson has a grade of 94 from 247Sports and is ranked as the no. 92 prospect in the nation overall. As a junior, he helped Prattville to a 12-2 record and class 6A state championship

Without looking I would assume that Trent's #3 jersey was the biggest seller last year. Anybody think Vinnie can sell as many, or at least enough to keep it towards the top?
