Congrats to him, already landing a collegiate job at his alma mater.

I thought he was cut this year.
ETA: He was.

After starting their roster cuts en masse on Friday, the Falcons finished the job Saturday afternoon.
There were no shockers on the list, although it’s interesting the team cut quarterback John Parker Wilson. Atlanta is now only carrying two quarterbacks.

Recruiting Corner:
*Ken Santa Marina very high on Bama
*Other targets at OT are Colin McGovern and Dorian Johnson
*Expect to take close to a full class
*Bama is shooting for 2 QBs
*Source still claims Liner isn't solid
*Source says Auburn is worried about a potential flip
*Every time Nkemdiche comes on campus, he acts like a commitment
*Staff loves Miami LB Matthew Thomas
*Reggie Chevis is close to earning a Bama offer

I really like KSM. I hope we can add him to the OL class, along with Drew Dodd.
Illinois must be growing long armed OTs on trees this year.
Matthew Thomas seems a little light for a LB in our scheme. Even for the SAM.

*Bama is shooting for 2 QBs. Good luck with that. You're striking out at an alarming rate.
*Source still claims Liner isn't solid = Terrible source
*Source says Auburn is worried about a potential flip = very terrible source
*Every time Nkemdiche comes on campus, he acts like a commitment . he's done that everywhere he has visited. Watch out for Clemson.
*Staff loves Miami LB Matthew Thomas
*Reggie Chevis is close to earning a Bama offer . We offered as a FB. He also says Texas A&M is LB.
I'm trying my hand at this troll thing. How did I do?
Seriously though, If Clemson opens that checkbook I would watch out for them with Nkemdiche. Dabo and Conn played together at Bama.

Has "TreauxllTigers" been taken as a handle yet? If not, I smell an alter.

Alabama looks to continue adding depth to the defensive backfield in the 2013 cycle and one of the Crimson Tide’s newest targets in that regard is Woodbury (N.J.) prospect Anthony Averett. The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder received an offer from Alabama during a phone call with head coach Nick Saban earlier in the week.
“I talked to Coach Saban and he said he wanted to bring me down there and show me the campus. I’m looking forward to going down there one of these days in the summertime,” said Averett. “Academically, they’re up there one of the ratings like graduation rates. He said they don’t just teach you about football but how to be a man and stuff like that.
“Coach Saban said he sees me as a corner or safety- it doesn’t matter. He said he likes his DB’s tall 6’1, 185, like (Dre) Kirkpatrick, and that I fit that system. It doesn’t really matter to me which position I play. I just like defense.”
Receiving the offer from Saban was big for Averett, who also holds tenders from Rutgers, South Florida, Syracuse, Temple, and West Virginia.
“To get it from him- I didn’t know what to do with myself. I was just excited. I tried to hide it because I didn’t want to be loud on the phone, but I wanted to jump up and down. I know he’s well respected down there, so it was a pleasure. It’s my first SEC offer.”
Averett is being recruited by Alabama offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland and the two have formed a good relationship over the course of his recruitment.
“He was the first one who came up to the school to meet my coaches and things. He was the first one to interact with me. We were close since the beginning and he said to come down like Coach Saban. He said I’d love it.”
The offer places the Crimson Tide at the top of Averett’s list of schools.
“Alabama- it really can’t get bigger than that. They’re up there. I really can’t pick. I don’t know where I’m going, but Alabama is up there and in the SEC they have great football. I’m going to try to come down there definitely in the summertime. Spring is hard for me because I have a lot of track. I don’t think I’d camp, but just visit.”
The four-star defender, who finished first in the 55m dash and high jump at New Jersey’s indoor state championships, says distance from home isn’t likely to play a role in his decision-making process.
“I’ll go far- it’s not really a big deal. I like going down South. Distance doesn’t really matter. I’ll definitely look at the campus life and academics since they’re important too. I’m probably going to wait until after my senior season and take my time. I don’t think I’m going to decide too early.”
Averett has a grade of 91 from 247Sports and is ranked as the no. 9 prospect in the state of New Jersey

He should sell them. Could probably get $100/dred (from Bama fans) x 30 dreds = an easy $3K

Pretty sure he doesn't need the money. Would be a good charity fundraiser though.

He's fast. His PR in the 55 meter is 6.46.
B. Sylve - 6.30
L. Collins - 6.48
Kenny Bell - 6.74
And yes, LSU fans, Brazil ran 6.25
