That was long after I was gone. I moved back to Alabama in 2000. I'm thinking sometime right after 2002 the first MPSA-MHSAA was played.

Devall suffers from multiple personality disorder so be really is more like 6 guys by himself. All of them beastly and unable to think for themselves.

Quotes from 5 star S S'ua Cravens of Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta on Bama offering him yesterday:
Highlight vid - LINK
He is listed at 6'1 205, but looks bigger in vid, much more of a future at Mike, would be phenomenal as a LB
quote:
"They talked to my coach and he let me know. Alabama has been recruiting me for a while, but I was surprised they offered me,” said Cravens.
“I haven’t talked to anyone from Alabama yet, but being offered by the best team in the country is an honor and an opportunity kids would kill for. Well, I know they always have a big and fast defense and with the class they just pulled in, that looks to continue.”
“I’m looking at what position they’re recruiting me to play, if they have my major, and just if I’m a good fit there. I’d prefer to play safety or outside linebacker and want to major in business management. I’m also looking for a coach that isn’t afraid to play his youth and will offer me the opportunity to compete for playing time as a freshman.”

Quick quote from Smith
quote:
“I am really liking LSU a whole lot right now,” Smith said. “I know I’m trying to learn as much about them as I can and I really hope that they throw the ball a whole lot in 2012 or at least more than they did the last couple of years. LSU is a great school and the coaches there are awesome. I respect each and every one of them. I could totally see myself going there, but it just all depends on how everything goes next year. I could see myself staying in state. I’m not saying that I have to leave the State of Louisiana for sure. I’m not like some of the other guys recently in-state that left. I am just going to have to do what is best for me. That is what I’m going to do and I’m confident that everything is going to work out just fine.

I give you a shout out & you gon CALL ME OUT LIKE THAT!! j/k LoL, getting new coach got your foot in the door, there's still a long way to go & to me Bama had a pretty heavy lead, so now LSU is pulling even IMHO, could be wrong, but just how I see it
Also yah on Marina

PLZZZZZZ PLZ snag him I now want NO PART of him
OJ is gonna be the best TE we've seen at Bama under Saban
Y'all Yackle U MoFo's better throw to TE's some more Memphis!!!
Posted on 3/6/12 at 1:43 pm to BuccWildBammer
We don't have any dammit
Our best TE is a converted DE. I've yet to see him catch a pass without bobbling it first. At least he usually finally catches it however.

WTH is WRONG with Les wanting to run a pro style O with heavy run tendencies & not RECRUITING ANY TE's
Some of the stuff he does makes me scratch my head
It's almost like he'd rather have 12 RB's than try & sign 2 TE's in a class
Saban searches high & low

When they convert a DE to Yackle maybe they should also issue him some thicker gloves to cushion the bricks so the ball does not bounce off of them as much?

I'm still not sold on Ryan Anderson there. I like the idea of him at Mike, and running the defense (ala. Ro or Dont'a).

Looking through some more Southern guys and I found another QB, listed as a 3 star now, tell me what you think Saint
Sorry it took so long but here is my analysis on Ryan Buchanan:
On the hoof he looks a lot like AJ McCarron. Good height, but skinny. He is more athletic than AJ. However, he has a sidearm delivery that hurts his mechanics. Good arm though.
One negative on him that I can see off the bat is that he plays against extremely weak competition, which Cap eluded to earlier, and he doesn't seem to be that elite.
He appears to have good ability to throw on the run. He did run a few option plays which points to him having a decent understanding of when to get rid of the ball.
I would like to see how he fares against a legitimate defense before making more of an analysis, but the classification he plays in will limit his chances of that.
The one major concern I have is his delivery. He never sets his feet and really doesn't appear to have the ability to drive the ball down the field like a SEC Qb. I'm not saying he doesn't have the skills do to that, but he just doesn't display it in these highlights.
I guess my final thoughts are that he is a good athlete with size, but with the weak competition he plays against it's hard to get a good measure of how good he really is.
If I was him I would camp at as many SEC schools as I can and compete against elite talent. If he can perform well in camps against good players, he could be a real diamond in the rough. I think we have better options on the board just based on film alone.
Good find though.
If we miss on the other targets we have, he could be the "Alec Morris" in this class, albeit against weaker competition.
One thing about our current staff all of us should consider, is that they prefer their QBs to be battle tested so to speak in the high school ranks. Alec Morris wasn't highly rated, but he played in the top classification in Texas. Phillip Ely was the same way coming out of Plant HS in Tampa. Buchanan just doesn't seem to fit that mold.

I'm sold on Cooper Bateman. I would love to see a more athletic QB in our offense, but I just like Bateman.
Posted on 3/6/12 at 4:40 pm to CapstoneGrad06
Bateman is good. He's just not a game changer. Don't get me wrong, if we land him I will be happy. However, I think that we missed out on our best shot at a game changer in Hackenberg and I feel now that Zaire is our best shot at getting someone that won't be just a game manager. Not that that is a bad thing, it's just time we start getting players that can take over a game instead of insuring we don't lose one. I'm starting to think Zaire is that guy.

maybe
i thought he was more of an edge player. i was envisioning Foster at Mike. gotta have a smart kid at the mike so personalities, intellect, and leadership could factor in there. this team is so stacked with talent. its fricking unbelievable.

Josh Helmholdt, Rivals' midwest analyst, is sticking with a Vick comparison too. He also expects Bama's offer to shake up his recruitment, even though his offer isn't committable yet(has to attend camp for it to be).
I try not to get emotionally invested in recruiting, but I'm gonna just step away if I see him commit to tOSU. He is apparently a Buckeye "fan", but he keeps talking about Pro Style. How is he gonna keep going on about it, then end up in a Spread Option offense?
Posted on 3/6/12 at 5:27 pm to MagillaGuerilla
Well, like I said earlier, Zaire is obviously not our staff's number one target (I would like to believe Hackenberg was), but he certainly has talent to garner an offer this early.
Just remember, Alec Morris didn't have an offer until September last year.
If Zaire wants to play in Pro-Style offense then he won't consider OSU, but seeing as how he grew up a Buckeyes fan they would appear to have that as an advantage.
I hope we get him down for a visit and blow him away. It seems our options are gonna come down to Bateman and Zaire. We really can't lose either way, even though they bring completely different skill sets to the table.
