Alabama and Georgia are co-leaders for Georgia CB Brendan Langley. This story is from the AJC which I can't link because of work filters.

Here is his profile:

And in some more processing news, Jay Williams got a DUI a few weeks ago, and will not return.

He reminds me a lot more of Pat White than Buck because White was a little less fast top end but more quick, had a cannon pretty accurate (although some of Zaire's throws are more accurate). The only thing is like Saint said coming from an option takes more time to develop but he is WAY more developed passer than swoopes is, don't mind the height and he still might not be done growing, but Russell Wilson is the prime example of height not mattering. I still agree with a few guys here that the prototypical tall strong armed passer with a running ability always eludes us (or we don't offer aka Joe Webb SMH & we are still really good friends, had he got an offer from Bama he would've walked to Tuscaloosa, still to this day one of the most underrated prospects I've ever seen due to him transferring to Wenonah, and IMHO he was a MUCH better passer coming out than Winston, & JW is a 5 star, anyway that's my soapbox I digress)

The thing I really like about Zaire are his reads he makes in the passing game, and his touch for a 6'1 lefty mobile QB is PHENOMENAL, I'm gonna attribute most of his football I.Q. to being a film junkie which will go a very long way in terms of preparing him for college ball, but it tells you something when RichRod who runs a more spread prototype option O with much more spread passing elements, tabs Zaire as one of his top targets at Arizona, and that will likely be our main competition.

I really like him seems like more of a passer

I also wanna address another thing discussed a page or 2 back about comparing McElroy and Alec Morris and while McElroy was a champ at Bama and that will never be taken away from him, I also think Morris' skill set is a lot different, 1st he is much more developed as a passer at this point in his career, already has and will have a stronger ARM just because of the kids massive frame which McElroy wasn't blessed with, the thing about McElroy was his football IQ and decisions that made him successful, and I know Coach Nuss really liked Morris' IQ watching film and breaking down plays in the time they spent together, and McElroy was a tough SOB taking sacks and his performance in the SEC CG is legendary, but Morris is a tough SOB as well, but in a different sense, he has that Tebow mentality where he motivated his team and when running ran over people with relative ease and that was in one of the toughest divisions in Texas, he actually reminds me a lot of Tebow with better passing mechanics, I understand the comparisons since both are from bigger HSs in Texas and fairly underrated and decommited from schools to commit to Bama, but in terms of ability on the field they couldn't be any more different IMHO

I think you combined an incoming QB and a NT - would be pretty cool.

Also you see OJ Howard scored the top Nike Sparq rating so far this yr, he is gonna be a beast, expect him to jump over Dee Liner and gain that 5th star with the next rerankings by every service, he looks far and away like the state's best prospect.

Also where you live Saint e-mail me if you would I'd like to meet, got some tape of him at Sparq I'd like you to see

I like him. If we miss out on Browne, Olsen, and Bateman we would do well to land Zaire

Agreed.

He doesn't have great size but you can see he has allot of potential throwing the ball. Any player that can successfully run a triple option is used to taking snaps under center, has to make allot of quick decisions under pressure and will understand play faking,handoffs,ect..Allot of things that are very important in the Bama's offense. He needs work, but who's to say a guy with a higher rated arm but cant run and takes 99% of his snaps from the shotgun is the better fit for us?

seems like either Fulwood is telling every staff that off "visit high" or he is seriously playing the game

This one is gonna get VERY interesting before it is all over

INB4BAMABIASBUMP//AUBIESBUTTHURT

How does the State look this year for top tier talent? What positions are the deepest? It seems LB has been very strong in AL for the last few years.

IMO Bama needs to sign a strong OL/DL class the most; then on D- LB's & DB's. On O- after OL QB is a big must have followed by skill positions. Thoughts?

Ya, sounds like a kid who has a new favorite after every trip. UF fans are saying the same thing you said after his visit here. Wanted to commit, but mom held him off.

Stature-wise, yeah he looks like him, but I was never really high on Pat White's passing abilities. He was a hell of an athlete, but I think Zaire is a better passer right now, than White was with 4 years of college and 2 years in the NFL. But again, that's just my opinion.

The Lber talent in-state is pretty poor for the 2013 class.

The WR position is pretty damn stacked though.

After Golson, Hill, and Bozeman the O-Line talent drops off significantly.

Dee Liner may be the only D-Lineman in the state worth talking about, even though Rod Crayton is a bull.

I think the class of 2013 from Alabama is overall sort of "meh."

OL seems like a monster in-state class, and Bama will get their fair share

DL is not as deep, but top end is pretty good, Dee Liner is a beast, but sadly he will sign with AU

LB isn't NEARLY as stacked as it has been, but a few usually emerge later on in this category

DB's are pretty weak

RB is deep, but not hardly any marquee guys

WR is another very strong group this year seems like both schools will get their share, AU already got a really good one (although it was no surprise, as I predicted)

That's what I have gathered from looking at the prospect lis on various sites. Seems GA is pretty damn loaded and Bama will get their top 2 (I know RF may transfer to an AL H-school) Where else will be the hot areas for Bama? Our traditionals GA, FL, AL, MS? or LA, TX, TN, east coast, NE?

Do you think we'll sign 25? It feels like we don't have a lot of SRs & JRs that would leave early. I could be dead wrong as I haven't looked at the returning roster.

Also thanks to all of you recruiting junkies for posting in this thread- It(consolidation) sure makes it easy for the more casual recruiting followers (myself)to keep up with the news.

The hole in the ocean part - just stand back and watch the show. Make sure to stand back far enough that the wave does not get you.

Dovetail joint - all about having the right tools or enough talent to overcome the lack of tools

Glass Onion - I got nothing

The more important question, what will you do with your two faces when they fight on Sept 1st?
