Absolutely not.
I've been on the Mettenberger Bandwagon since he committed and signed with LSU. I might even have to steal some of those emoticons Memphis posted. Those were pretty funny/cool. I do agree with what Robot said. Les Miles had a lovefest with JJ. There's no way Mettenberger would've started even if he was clearly the best.

Ok, I get the admiration for Mettenberger. But you are an Auburn fan, not a LSU fan. Whats with the rivalry promotion?
I could understand a sig with Pike animations, but Mettenberger?

If we wanted to start a dual threat QB with accuracy issues we would start our RS Freshman Jerrard Randall. He has the strongest arm of the four, but his consistency is terrible atm. This is the first year we can officially say that unless we experience some future tragedy at the QB position we do not have a QB controversy heading into the 2012 season. Mett is our guy through thick and thin. Unless he goes down with an injury, suspended, or is kicked off RP style then he will be the starter throughout the fall.

Ruh Roh, you have a JJ Jr. on the team. Look for Les to rotate(may even get the start) JR with Mett. You know Les loves mobile/dual threat QBs, see JJ for a prime example.
