O'Brien will pitch and land:

1 "Tom Brady" position - Check
1 "Wes Welker" position
1 "Rob Gronkowski" position
1 "Aaron Hernandez" position

i'm betting PSU fans will be passing out in the stands if their offense scores more than 20 pts a game...

I did. He's the most college ready QB in this class. Sadly, he wants to play for the child molesters.

There's a difference when one is just a fan but the other is a big part of the program, coach.

Dobard likes Auburn. I think we have a better shot with Smith.

UGA and AU are his two favorites... he visited our junior day last week.

Loeffler used the hell out of TEs at Temple... will be curious to see what he does with Lutz this fall...

Bama is interested, so Michigan lock.

Seriously though, JC Shurburtt is really high on him for his athleticism.

Looking at the picture on his 247 profile, I don't see how he weighs 268 lbs...

You guys have a better shot with Dobard. We'll get Smith as long as we show him any progress throwing to the TE. The kid is just sending a message to the LSU coaches. Dobard also fits Bama better. Smith is not gonna block, ever. Dobard is the dual TE.

Memphis, Don't know why our staff is taking the stance they are with Santa Marina. I can tell you though it's not just Ponamsky saying it, it's everyone. Every source for LSU recruiting, paysites or just good citizens, say KSM cannot commit to LSU right now and may not ever be able to. Don't know what the deal is honestly. We are willing to take Karl Malone but not KSM. Makes no sense to me but neither does the lack of an offer to Ishmael Wilson. Have no clue what our OL recruiting strategy is. That's usually one of the easier positions to project for LSU recruiting but not this year. Then again not much of anything is predictable for LSU recruiting at this point. Also agree with you about Diarse. I know there are some very good lines of info here on Bama recruiting but a couple that I have never been led wrong by on another site is very confident at this point that Diarse is not a current take on the Bama board. They say that is of course subject to change but that's as of now. Honestly don't think it matters because I think LSU is in the driver's seat regardless right now and Henry along with his parents are the reasons.

Really? I thought he was visiting next weekend. Either way I wouldn't be surprised to see him commit.

I've seen nothing on Santa Marina, probably just a false rumor.

Moving forward at the QB position since Hackenberg is off the board.

Who do we go after now? I know some will say Max Browne due to the Nussmeier connection and Bateman from Utah since he's not Mormon. But who else is out there?

Also Tim Watts said Charles from BOL just texted Santa Marina and asked him if he commited and he said No so that is that

Also TiderNFl, has lots of really strong connections in Fla, said we are losing our kung fu death grip on Bosa sucks arse

He said Muschamp has been recruiting him heavily, moved him to top of the list and has been "bumping" into him

I will be super ultra MEGA PISSED if we don't land him because of Mr Douchebag HC at STA

This is what I've wanted to know about Smith, you rarely seeing blocking in highlight videos at skill positions. Unless it's a cut up of 1 game where they track him all the way through.

I don't see Howard and Smith fitting together well as they are both the same type of TE. They would both likely be H-Backs at Bama, which means only 1 on the field in a regular set.

Unless they are worried about Howard flipping, but I don't see that happening...

Hopefully Allen can convince Ryan Burns to tag along with him. I don't see him going to PSU now, so get in his ear while it's still early...
