I hope rueben sticks, and in the end I expect him too...but if there's a position Alabama can whiff on it's LB.

The last 2 starting mikes have been first round picks with nico/Mosley a great chance to make it into the first round also. Lee, devall, Ragland, Anderson was one hell of a class last year. LBU. Join us or lose to us

Should Nkemdiche loose his place as the #1 recruit because he doesnt go to camps anymore? Honestly, Grayson is 30 minutes from Atlanta... He had every chance in the world to go out there and compete. Meanwhile kids like Reuben and Lawson are both already 5-stars and they hardly ever miss a camp in the southeast.
See the thread I made on this...

Lawson hasn't just showed up either, he has straight dominated everyone he has gone up against. It'll be interesting to see what happens when Carl Lawson gets another boost in the Rivals 100.

I dont think Reuben should even be playing in these camps. He has knee problems already. Im willing to be that he is going to end up having surgery on it or something.

So let me get this right. We should not believe Foster because he was quoted directly. But we should believe Mathews another recruit because he was quoted directly.

You shouldn;t believe what either of them say. Sure, Tray could be sincere (as could Reuben) but the only thing you can really follow are the patterns: Are the coaches sending new offers out to other guys at the position? Where are they visiting? How long are they staying and are parents coming?

Because recruiting has become sensationalized and commercialized, you've got these HS kids who have never had national eyes on them before trying to handle it. They could misspeak or they could just straight up fib and say something to get people off their back or off their trail.

Not to mention the reporters who print the quotes are running a BUSINESS. Most of them are going to ask leading questions and they're going to take quotes out of context knowing that 9 out of 10 kids are either not going to correct them or notice what they're doing. They have a consumer base to keep happy. Doesn't mean you should disregard reporters, but just take quotes with a grain of salt.

It's all fun to throw quotes at each other on here, but let's be real. Unless a kid commits, decommits, or especially until he signs an LOI, nothing is ever for certain

I hope Bama goes HAM on Virginia in general. Get Groh to use every resource he and his daddy knows, and give Thompson the keys to the private jet...just keep track of the flight log.

Bingo which Foster is, but listening to 2 other fan bases telling us how thhey have translated, broken down, and read between the lines on every thing that has been said would lead everyone to believe he is not commited.

Depends on whether or not CNS gives him the green light to go there to recruit for Bama

Since Henry is so adept to all the bs that comes from there, Saban probably told him to go and make sure Reuben don't believe all the bs.

Didn't see this posted:

This is a brief one ....
Spoke with someone who tells me Alvin Kamara has been receptive to the idea of playing WR at Bama. Now, what I don't know is this: Would it be a part time or full-time role at WR? In other words, at Bama would Kamara be a hybrid guy -- a-la Percy Harvin. OR would he be a full-timer at WR? Can't answer that right now.
The source says they believe the Tide is probably at the top, along with Clemson.
Having seen Kamara in person a few times, I think he could excel at either spot ... for a running back, he runs solid routes and can catch the ball. Not only is he fast, but his acceleration is off the charts. Once he catches the ball and turns up field, the jets are on and he's flying.
Anyway, just a little did bit ...

Yeah, because Saban is the new spread offense genius! He could at least try a little harder to actually make sense.
