UGA and ND playing each other in a shitty bowl would be kind of funny... that's some irony!

tl;dr comments. my reply is to the OP:
Nkemdiche - understandable due to brother
Connor - understandable due to south panola, his decision will however cost him a lot of money
Treadwell - tweeted picture of 100's of dollars on OM visit
Tunsil - had not even mentioned OM, visited and completely eliminated Bama/UGA (long standing front runners)
Golson - like Tunsil, had no interest in OM, visited and nearly cummed in his pants
This was a 6-6 school. 5*'s dont line up like that for mediocrity like Ole Miss without there being something extra driving it. You landed FIVE 5* players and two very high 4*'s.
Now, lets take a look at Kentucky. They have 2 pretty good 4* guys in Denzel Ware and Drew Barker. They have no 5*'s and likely wont land any unless Matt Elam gets a huge bump and most expect him to end up there. UK does have a new coaching staff so they are able to recruit based off the POSSIBILITY of them now being a good team (see: auburn & tennessee).

It doesn't say the best... it says "one of" the best. Still high praise coming from Saban.

Yep, they want Cornwell, but Harris is a good B/U plan....Thats what I take from that...
That may be true but I just get the feel that Saban actually really wants Harris... but with him not committing till later, it would be a gamble. Cornwell wants to commit really soon and he is a for sure thing.
Year before last, we gambled with Jameis Winston and went after Gunner Kiel (wow) and ended up losing them both. I dont think Saban lets that happen again, that's why i say we end up with Cornwell.

If Cornwell is 1A and Harris is 1B, then why did Saban tell Harris he was better than Cornwell and he doesn't even have to throw for him at camp yet Cornwell does?
I wasn't in the room but I would imagine that you tell these kids some half truths to keep the interest mutual... Harris probably wouldn't have loved his trip so much if Saban would have told him "well, lets see what Cornwell does and we'll get in touch with you". A little common sense goes a long way...
Regarding the paysite of Harris being told he didn't have to throw, yet Cornwell does... i'm not so sure Cornwell does. I do know that Coach Nuss has recently went and evaluated Harris and Cornwell at their school and probably got a good enough idea of what they could do. Saban just prefers watching QB's throw in a camp setting first, but i still 100% believe that no QB can commit until camp is over and all QB's have been watched. If Bama had let Cornwell commit last night, that would be horrible PR for the kids driving several hours to camp hoping to earn that solid offer. This is a snip of a paysite article from 2 days ago.
quote:
Harris talked with Saban about his current non-committable offer, and how that could change soon.
“I took away Coach Saban does his quarterback evaluation totally different than everyone else. I know they have a camp tomorrow. He’s going to evaluate those other guys. Since he already evaluated me, I don’t have to go through it for him, thank God. I’m going to let him do his evaluation and when he tells me everything is right, we’ll go from there.”
Saban did tell Harris he was the best QB he had evaluated at the college level but I have my doubts if that's true... Harris does have some really good film and maybe Saban really just wants a dual threat guy? I still think when the dust settles, Cornwell will commit to Bama and Harris to LSU.

All of our QB offers will be non-committable until camp is over on Wednesday... then it may take a day or so for the staff to discuss. The gut feeling here is Cornwell is 1a and Harris is 1b. I expect us to end up with Cornwell but I would love to see Bama with a legit dual-threat guy...

Tennessee will be the new AU...
Moral victories for 8/9 months a year due to good recruiting.
The other 3/4 months a year, quiet from getting raped on the field.

Roc Thomas commits to AU
(wait for it, that's not the end of the world)
shortly before signing day... he, Tre Williams and Josh Casher all flip to Bama after watching AU go 5-7 and seeing Bama with another Natty!

UGA... i live in Georgia and listen to them year round. They are an annoying piss ant when it comes to us poaching recruits from the state.

1.) Manziel
2.) Newton
3.) Tebow
4.) Clowney
5.) Peterson
I try not to like Manziel but he (alone) made TAMU a very competitive football team and put up better numbers than Newton. Both are monsters and 1 step above the other 3.

He's gonna be a linebacker, he is closer to 6-2 235 than 6-1 230, and he runs like Clowney and is a pure-tee animal when on the field. But, like I said, thank you.
He runs like Clowney? What do you mean? Upright? Left foot, right foot? For what its worth, this animal you are referring to measured in at the Charlotte Rivals camp in mid April at 6'0 even and 239lbs and ran a 4.69 40.

Kevin Crosby, IMHO, is one of the most important gets, if not the most important in this upcoming class. But we want him for the same reason Bama is so hot after him ... because he is one of the best athletes that is going to step on the field in college and everyone envisions him as a big linebacker
Not flaming but Bama isn't "hot" after him. I cant even tell you how long its been since ive seen any Bama site do an update on him. He might be a good athlete but I dont think Bama would take a commit from him. Slightly awkward size for a TE at 6'1 230lbs... maybe a FB/HB. Either way, Bama isn't all over him.

Hill is a beast, him that low is laughable. Assuming his low ranking came from him raping that girl and him hitting that guy when he wasn't looking? The guy can play!

Who does Oregon have at RB and WR that's better than Gurley/Mitchell?
Marshall always gets lumped in with Gurley via "Gurshall", but in all seriousness... he isn't that good yet. He will probably develop and improve but he's just kind of meh right now.. Gurley/Yeldon/Hill are all 3 just on another level as far as SEC RB's go.
