It will be at least 12 games long at least, unless covid....

But, Why do you think KJ is so terrible. I watched the entire spring game, saw him handle Auburn fairly well last season (Cheating damn refs) so what exactly is your prob with him?

He actually looked decent to good today fwiw!

My thoughts are

"it was a spring game"

Followed closely by

"It's baseball season and we are #1"

LSU
The defense looks much improved and that was missing Ricks and Gaye
Secondary looked solid and dl will be nasty
Lb play will be the key to the defense and strong didn’t play but had a solid spring and they add the Clemson transfer this summer

Qb I think both Brennan and Johnson will play
Rb room dealt with a lot of injuries this spring
Te is a concern and some wr need to step up outside of boutte

Ricks, Gaye, Anthony, and all 3 starting LB.

with what we saw today, I'm very confident our defense will be a strong point next season.

Also to your TE and WR point - Gilbert getting back on the team would be massive. Otherwise, the freshman WR better step up (and I believe they can)

We're using lube just on Bama, wanna savor that piece of meat when it's time.

Smack talking aside, this is Kirby's most complete team. Secondary is a concern, but they have a 2nd team AA coming in...

Bama will be a well coached and talented team. Will they be elite? We'll see.

Sure they do. But coach Saban keeps giving him a raise.

States defense looked solid.

Receivers are much improved.
Offensive line was meh
RBs looked good but unfortunately we won’t run them much
QB play by Rogers wasn’t great
Transfer QB from USM looked good and might end up beating out Rogers imo

Waiting on TAMU next weekend. But they should have some play makers.

King is standing out in the scrimmages so far. He doesn't have the arm that Calzada does, but his decision making has been significantly better. Calzada continues to throw interceptions which will never fly with Fisher. It says something that King appears to get the most reps with the first unit in both scrimmages.

First team OL is going to be fine, but the depth is all injured. And the starting center is dinged up as well so a true freshman has been taking most of the snaps as Center #2. I expect the Spring game OL to be simply terrible because the starters will all be split up ...

WR's and TE show some promise, but Demas and Cupp are injured again, and Chapman and Wydermyer aren't even playing this Spring. Some of the younger WR's are showing out though in the absence of the starters.

The defense looks great, and the depth on DL is probably part of the reason OL continues to struggle past the ones. Defense in general is great.

I'm looking forward to the Spring game but have reasonable expectations, especially with the injury situation and depth issues along the OL. Cannot wait for the freshmen OL to come in this Fall, especially Foster who I expect to compete for a starting spot.

Yeah, I thought you looked deeper. 17, he just needs to stay off the field.

In reaching out to friends, your OL was divided up. In fact, all of the 1s were divided equally with the 2s. So the starting OL was not together.

RBs looked good but unfortunately we won’t run them much

Bet you run them more this year.

Won't happen. I would have to see it to believe a true freshman who went through the SEC and completed 69% is benched.

Was there agree with all of this. I think our D is going to be pretty stout. I agree that Rogers didn't look great, but Abraham was on the better team. The OL was split up, so I couldn't judge them much because of that. Our DL is pretty good. Crumedy could be the next great DL behind Cox, Jones, and Simmons. LBs were solid. Emerson and Forbes could be our best DB duo since Smoot/Bean. Lots of WR depth. I think Tulu will breakout this year. JUCO transfer Ducking looks the part, but dropped one right in his hands. Spivey, Heath, and Payton were ok. Interested to see how Cal transfer Polk does. He caught one long TD. Walley got hurt on the 2nd drive(sprained MCL). Transfers on defense Charlton(UCF DE) and Green(Texas S) looked solid. If we get some QB play we can go 8-4.
