I think the Bama defense is going to have to cary us a bit.

Our offense has some work to do!

I think Bryce Young is going to be a very good qb, Hall will be freshman All American receiver and the rb depth is great. Playoff bound.

We will probably go bowling... A continual and steady improvement.

KJ looking good, So is Hornsby at QB. But, we have some incredible athletes in our WR groups.

D, Defense, Not sure I even know what that is....

Finally we look to have improved on ST's as well. Bout time.

so... is 2 outta 3 still "ain't Bad"?

WR took a step back which I knew they would but there wer to many dropped passes. Hall is special and will be with ones. With 20 players missing off the 2 deep it’s hard to tell what they are anyway. I’m satisfied but I don’t make a big deal out of spring games one way or another.

Hard to tell from ours. First team D looked solid and will have some playmakers. Transition to new system looked solid so far.

Offensively, Bigsby and Shivers should be a good 1-2 punch. OL made some good holes, but we didn’t try to run much for depth issues.

We were down 3 potential starters at WR so match that with still trying to implement a new system definitely hurt. Couple young guys looked good though.

Nix still has a lot of improvement needed. Downfield is still a big struggle for him. Was good short to intermediate in first half. Second half he reverted to old Bo.

OL still a bit of a mystery. Made some good holes, some
Blown assignments very different scheme so there will be growing pains for sure.

Alabama will have the deadliest backfield in the country and probably the best tightend room too.
Bryce will be able to lean on a lot of star power much like Mac did while he develops.

Metchie/Hall/Bolden are the next Jeudy/Ruggs/Devonta.

I don’t think our offense will be as explosive as last year’s, for obvious reasons, but I can’t imagine many scenarios where our defense will have to carry us. This offense will be potent and fun to watch. Mismatches all over the field.

I think it will end up being Hornsby.

They will in a few games. After watching us and a few others, there are
defenses we will play thats going to present a problem for us. I have not watched all the games obviously, but..

I expect LSU to have a defense that limits us.

I expect MSU to have a top ten defense and limit us.

Waiting on TAMU next weekend. But they should have some play makers.

Bottom line for LSU: The team will take a a step in the right direction this season, but won't be ready to compete for championships until 2022.

Defense should be improved, but there is just not enough firepower on offense right now -- Boutte and Emery are the only true homerun threats on the roster, and it'll be too easy to defend two guys.

Does that mean Arkansas will beat Auburn this year?

Hard to say. They won’t have the Malzahn motivation anymore.
