Hmm, my second favorite would probably be Southern Illinois University. I have fond memories of the three semesters I spent there. Or I would if they weren't mostly lost in a haze of booze, drugs, tawdry sex.
As for second favorite SEC team that tends to change from week to week. Usually its Mizzou or Texas A&M. While I dislike Kentucky during basketball season I usually cheer for them during football season.
The team I loathe the most doesn't play in this conference. Neither does the second, third, fourth and so on teams. LSU and Auburn probably creep in those ranks in the mid 40's for football and Kentucky is a solid top ten dislike during basketball season.

Always root for Arkansas. My dad is from Bradley County (he's a Boll Weevil from what is now UA-M). He's a former football coach, so watching the Hogs with him is a joy.
No one - I mean, NO ONE - has a more fatalistic view on things than an 80 year old Arkansas fan. They make Irish poets look like Mr. Rogers by comparison.

Second Favorite is LSU (then Ole Miss)
Second Archenemy is UGA (Close with Bama, depends on the state you live in)

I don't mind many teams in the east. In the west I hate everyone but Ole Miss and TAMU.
My second most hated team is Tennessee, as should be the case for every Bama fan. Third is LSU, who I didn't care about nearly as much before joining this site. Then there's a big dropoff in hatred.

I am an SEC fan. Went to Princeton, so no alumni loyalties. Grew up all over the South. Live in Alabama now. Bama fans are obnoxious and entitled. So, I guess I hate Bama to some degree, but I want them to beat UGA this weekend because I have some really bad obnoxious UGA fans in my family when UGA is winning, but then I will pull for UGA in some games when they are not undefeated but never against Florida. So, I don't know who I hate most. It is usually situational.

The 13 other schools in this conference and the other 114 in FBS can kiss my arse.
I don't mind seeing the small Mississippi schools - Delta State, MC, Millsaps and Belhaven do well.
But the other Division II and III teams outside Mississippi can kiss my arse as well. I'm looking at you, Black Hills State.

As much as I might hate some of the teams, I would rather watch any SEC team play a division 2 school than watch Ohio State-Mich State. My second favorite to Ole Miss is probably Georgia. I like Richt and they always have several players I root for. I did like Bama before Saban got there and the entitlement reached new levels, but I still root for them most of the time. My second archenemy is State. I'm not from Mississippi so I don't have the hate for them that others do, so UT could eventually pass them if Butch ever learns to coach and they get good.

BFF - Florida. Might sound weird, given that we're cross-division "rivals" and everything, but I've never had the emotional dislike for them that I have for some SECW teams. And the SEC just doesn't feel right unless they're good. And we've had some incredible games (on both sides).
Archenemy - I guess it changes depending the makeup year in/year out. Right now it's obviously Alabama, but that seems to be fading a bit as 1/9/12 recedes further into the past. I'm sure Saban poaching another #1 player from LA or some similar rematch BS could reignite it with the quickness though.
About a decade ago it was Auburn. And I'll even go so far as to say that that one was a more intense rivalry at the time where both teams obviously hated each other. For Alabama right now I think LSU fans just feel screwed over and mad and competitive and jealous.... but no lingering emotional dislike like we had with Auburn.
I want TAMU to lose every game but it's less of a hatred and more that they're annoying and very hard to root for.
And it wasn't too long ago that LSU fans hated USCw more than any SEC team and by a long shot.

Well said. I'd only add that I pull for UGA in pretty much any game they aren't playing LSU.

LSU & Ole Miss Favorite. My cousins kids played at OM so I followed them and the program. Auburn friends aside from this site are good people. I've never liked Texas so I'd say A&M.

This is tough for SC because we don't have any true rivals in the SEC to begin with. We like to think UGA is a rival but it's terribly lopsided and not reciprocated.
With that said, I'll consider UGA our main rival and choose a secondary rival.
BFF team: Mizzou (I actually like Pinkel and what they've done to their image since joining the SEC. Sick helmets and unis too).
Other rival: Florida...I guess?
Don't really feel hatred towards any teams to be honest. Not much history for us or in the SEC.

Second favorite, and it's not remotely close, is Florida. Outside of Tiger Stadium, the Swamp is hands down the best place to attend a game (and I've been to every stadium in the SEC except Faurot). Gator fans are loud and fun as hell. Of course, for the majority of my adult life, their teams have also been great and fun to watch. I was one of the relative few LSU fans who actually liked Steve Spurrier even when he was at Florida and beating us like a rented mule.
Second most hated (behind Ole Miss) is probably Alabama. Part of it may be that they have beaten us a lot, but the same could be said of Tennessee or Florida (although not so much lately), the only other SEC teams who lead their series with us (sorry Mizzou, minimum 10 games played required to count). So, it's definitely more than that. It's the arrogance, the sense of entitlement and the way they expect everyone to kiss their asses that just makes them easy to hate. Honorable mention to Auburn here, but they don't crack the top two.

Most hated SEC: Tennessee going away. Arkansas and Florida are not far behind.
SEC BFF: Georgia or Alabama. No issues with either of these two.

It's a tie between Taxidermy Tech and Anthropology A&M.
Their matchup, chronicled by Walt Disney in 1944, was one for the ages.
