I'm not melting about anything. Auburn got no trophies except for winning their Super Bowl, which didn't even matter in the end. Bama won the National title, it's 5th in 10 years, so our coach is far from overpaid. Can't say the same about 4-loss Gus, who's 1-4 in bowl games and has an awful record against his rivals. But hey, he did win that Birmingham Bowl. Congrats on locking him down!

Dude is the biggest bitch on the board. He talks shite when things are going well for bama and then runs and hide when things go south.

None of that matters when Alabama won yet another National Championship.

That is what happens when College Football goes the way of the NIT. When 12 people can decide on who gets the invitation to the College Football Invitational Tournament (CFIT) based on the "eye test".

I think you have been proven wrong. The team that supposedly was invited because they were "Eye Candy" did what everyone said they couldn't.

They proved they were the best on the field.

In what way did Auburn deviate from normal gameplan and give up their ultimate team goals IOT beat Bama? Pray tell?

That's the point. The normal game plan IS just to beat Bama. Everything after is clearly not that important as evidenced by the 2 arse kicking that followed.

I'll hold my breath and assume you'll be supportive of AU turning down the invite to the playoffs since it's not legitimate.

What's with the Bama melt in this thread? It's a bad look.

How long did AU have to prepare for a game against a G5 school? So are you arguing Bama prepares better? Confused here...

Edit to add they had what, 10 days, to prepare for UGA? And get a backup QB ready to go?

Auburn might have the best home field advantage in college football. But get them out of that nest of toothless inbreds and they are 2 TD's weaker.

That claim only came after the beat UGA and Bama. Great excuse for the talking heads.

I have said, Saban could have taken this years Ole Miss Team to the Playoffs and they would have been competitive. Saban is good when given time (ie LSU in 2011 and the Kickoff Classics they play). His teams play differently with only one week to prep (Clemson 15/16, UGA 17).

Bruce Pearl is one goofy motherfricker. There's just something about him that makes me want to punch him right in the nose, but his nose might break my hand.
