You’re going to feel really stupid in 9-12 months. DeBoer’s introductory press conference was barely five hours ago and he’s already “burning it to the ground.” 
He’s barely had time in Tuscaloosa for a cup of coffee much less given a chance to recruit or keep the team together.

Teams lose players and coaches with coaching changes no matter where it is. You may think all these players came there because it’s Alabama, when it was Saban who was the big draw.
This is the new Alabama and it’s up to this coach to see that he and his system are successful.
The Saban Bama is gone now, folks are just going to have to learn to deal with what happens next.
But don’t hate on Deboer, he was willing to take a huge risk by following Saban and he has a good track record, give him a chance.

How was he supposed to stop Bond from entering the portal before even being named head coach? How could he stop Robinson from accepting another job when he had only gotten here at after 8:00 PM the night before?

You are the exact reason everyone said "no sane coach will want to follow the GOAT Saban." Alabama has some of the worst fans on the planet when it comes to thinking they deserve some sort of trophy for being born in Alabama and simply sitting on the couch in some Walmart gear with a script A on it while the games are on. Completely undeserving and unearned entitlement because you are a fan of a team of constantly revolving young men and kids playing a game.
You're writing the guy off after a press conference after a whirlwind week where he played the national championship game Monday and was Alabama's coach 5 days later. fricking relax. The press conference was about as good as it could've been, all things considered (and Saban sitting right there on the front row).
What were the other options you would've been happy with 24 hours later? Lane? Sark? Norvell? They all still wouldn't be Saban and this pampered little spoiled subset of your fanbase would've cried no matter what.
For the record, I think DeBoer will win and win big at Bama - as much as I hate it

He knew well before we did that he was going to be the coach. Again I’m not expecting him to be Saban but Saban had great recruiters lined up before he even left Miami.
