Yep there will still be some butt hurt OM fans who will be mad that Bianco is still the head coach even though he just won a National Championship.

Nah, I’m pulling for Ole Miss to win it all. Keep the trophy in Mississippi. It’s a good thing for the state and the conference.

As an Alabama fan who cares little about Baseball I would rather Ole Miss win than any of the others. Certainly not Auburn or A&M. No problem with Ark but just feel sorry for Ole Miss sometimes and want them to be relevant in something. No disrespect intended.

The difference being that we act an arse only when we win something. When we lose, we are like "frick it." We have the amazing ability to lose in ways that are both interesting and entertaining.

I think there was a little more than the "eye test" going on in 1960, when Ole Miss was the only major conference team to finish without a loss (the consensus national champion, Minnesota, finished with two).
In 1962, Ole Miss and SC both went undefeated and won their bowl game. There were, again, a lot of things going that year off the gridiron which may have influenced the way championships were awarded.
