MOST complained about ST play from the beginning - then about defense while JD5 was winning the Heisman.
Then we fired him in his 4th season.

I will be completely honest and say that I have no idea. He is really over football while Heath Schroyer will be looking over basketball and baseball as well as fundraising which he is excellent at. Verge has been around LSU a long time and knows what the fans want which is far more than I can say about the last AD. Right now, LSU athletics is banking on potential from the big 3 coaches who are all relatively very young and they don't seem intereseted in pro ball as of now. I do like that model, but we will see if those decisions pay off. I keep using the word potential because I am not one of these people that likes to go off and tell you how good we are going to be. I prefer to let the play speak for itself when we finally start playing games.

Well I know with my own fricking eyes he goes to public baseball tournaments his nephew is in and talks and takes pictures with people. So maybe he just didn’t like Mississippi people.
