Back in the day 3C BBQ in Bryan was awesome stuff. BBQ Brisket was devine. So was Fresh Air BBQ back close to home in Jackson, Georgia. Their BBQ pork with vinegar-based sauce was something to crawl over broken glass to get to. IOW, it's all good.
That being said, about 3/4 of that NIL store-bought recruitin' class Jimbo and his staff reeled in this year will be gone to the portal after the season is over when these guys figure out the fact that they can't coach 'em up worth a shite. Kirby and Saban will be swooping in to cherry-pick the best of 'em, and with very little fanfare I might add.

LSU is the only fanbase that brags about firing coaches. It’s weird.
He was also 11-12 in the same time frame that Jimbo was 17-5.
He also got the raise partially because he was LSU’s #1 target. Why were they willing to make him the highest paid coach in college football if he sucks so bad?

He got the raise because he coached LSU to the SEC's first and only 15-0 campaign, you knuckle dragger.

You're confused.
I'm not bragging about firing a coach, you tried to compare results to recruiting rankings and I simply pointed out that LSU's head coach was fired for his results and A&M's was given a raise for his.

Well he's been there since 2012.
Did he just learn to cook?
McDonalds did not sale a billion burgers their first year in business. It took about a decade to establish themselves.

Well they had different results, so that’s understandable. I understand the firing of both Orgeron and Mullens.
I’m not saying Jimbo’s performance is worthy of his paycheck just yet, but I’m also not in favor of firing a head coach without a suitable replacement. Texas has been doing this since they fired Mack Brown with no results. It puts you on a revolving door of coaching buyouts. They would have been better off sticking with Herman.
The only head “realistic” coach out there id support firing jimbo for would probably be Aranda. (I say realistic because nobody is getting Saban, Kirby, Swinney etc).

I actually agree that Texas should have kept Herman. They were at least winning some.

I don't think A&M needs to fire Jimbo, he's doing okay.
I think Aranda is a good coach but struggles with recruiting.
In a perfect world for A&M, Jimbo would hire a good OC to run the offense but we all know that will never happen and I think that will keep Jimbo from winning a title there.
And running from Wake Forest was chickenshit

you're out recruiting bama and UGA.
In 1 class.
Not just out recruiting but a legendary class. A class that college football has never seen. A longstanding blueblood might get 2, maybe 3, 5 stars in a great year. In all of high school football there were 34 five stars across America, A&M got 8 of them. EIGHT. 1/4 of all 5 star high school football players went to A&M. That is shite even movies couldn't make up.

This exactly. If we don’t get decent to good passing game production this year, we never will under Jimbo and I support moving on to someone new. Having a mid to low tier passing game isn’t winning a championship.

If beef ain't barbeque, then frick barbeque.
I will just remind everyone of the origin of the word.
The English word barbecue and its cognates in other languages come from the Spanish word barbacoa. Etymologists believe this to be derived from barabicu found in the language of the Arawak people of the Caribbean and the Timucua people of Florida;[3] it has entered some European languages in the form of the aforementioned barbacoa. The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) traces the word to Hispaniola and translates it as a "framework of sticks set upon posts".[4]
Gonzalo Fernández De Oviedo y Valdés, a Spanish explorer, was the first to use the word "barbecoa" in print in Spain in 1526 in the Diccionario de la Lengua Española (2nd Edition) of the Real Academia Española. After Columbus landed in the Americas in 1492, the Spaniards apparently found Taíno roasting meat over a grill consisting of a wooden framework resting on sticks above a fire. The flames and smoke rose and enveloped the meat, giving it a certain flavor.[5]
Since none of your shitty states were EVER part of Spain or Mexico...(except for Florida, briefly)
TEXAS will be the authority on the subject.
The rest of you are posers.

Pthupid pthephen. You’ve “lived” in Texas for 15 years because that’s where the institution is that your parents shipped you off to when they confirmed your prognosis. Your time at the group home computer is almost up for the day but you did great.
