Maybe it's just the good food? 
Coach's bbqs are legendary and since you non-Texan heathens like to claim beef isnt real bbq, this has all the bases covered with chicken and pork as well. Be jealous.

A&M had to bring in the dirty recruiter, Elijah Robinson, because this goofy frick couldn't land any elite talent on his own.
And even when Aggy does sign guys like DeMarvin Leal, who was a top 3 overall recruit and projected to go Top 10, he ends up being drafted late in the 3rd round

I've eaten in every state in the SEC except Missouri.
If there's one thing they all have in common it's that you'll find plenty of great places to eat.
On a side note, I got job in Baltimore for a bit and the weird thing was the owner's of the company wanted to treat me to dinner. Free food, why not?

Found out then they were from California and Canada, so it suddenly made sense. I just looked at them and said, "It's good and all, but I'm from Alabama, so... no?"

LSU has had recruiting classes where multiple 5 stars go undrafted.
