Baseball all the way. I’d be happier with the Texas Bowl than anything basketball.

As much as I would love to see Georgia make the Final Four again, I'll take another national championship in baseball all day long. No one remembers who almost won a title.

Baseball championship by a large margin over a final 4.

I have just as much fun during LSU’s runs in Omaha as I had during the 2006 Final Four run.
I don’t care about national prominence of a basketball title over a baseball title.
In the SEC and at a baseball school like LSU, they are kind of equals from a fan perspective.

College baseball natty. But a basketball natty would be lit if they were able to get through that final 4 hurdle.

Everyone here saying they’d take any NC over a F4 is lying. No one’s taking Mizzou’s recent Chess NC over a F4 in MBB (maybe in WBB). So the question isn’t really about championship or not, it’s about how important is Baseball compared to Basketball.
Another way to tease this out is what would you prefer:
A) 4 NCs in Baseball
Or
B) 4 F4s with 1 NC in MBB (essentially saying if you have a 25% chance in each, you come home with 1)
The vast majority of rational SEC fans are going to choose B all day long. LSU might be the only fanbase that doesn’t understand college baseball is a regional sport that most people in the USA don’t care about.

Except I'm not lying.
If you asked if I would rather have a basketball title or a baseball title, then I would take the basketball title. If you ask if I would rather come close to a basketball title or win a baseball title, I'll take the actual national championship. Almost is forgotten. A championship lasts forever.
I'm not lying just because my opinion is different from yours.
Edit-- I just reread your post and see you referred to "any" national championship. No, I don't think I would take "any" national championship over a Final Four. Georgia could add 20 more equestrian titles, and it wouldn't equal one Final Four. I would take definately take a football or baseball title over a Final Four, but that's probably it.

Final four. Baseball isn't a money sport outside the SEC. Even then, many teams lose money

Obviously Final Four...is not even a question at all unless you have a very bad basketball program and very good baseball program....we have done both..final four in basketball no question at all....not close at all. Football and Basketball make the most money, draw the most attention, etc. Very, very easy...

I mean, a national championship is a national championship; however, you can probably find more people who can name the teams in the Final Four than can name the baseball national champion.
I'd still say the national champion though. I remember in 2012 when Alabama's athletic program won 4 national titles (Football, Softball, Gymnastics, Women's Golf) - so for a fan of the school, I imagine seeing the trophy hoisted is bigger.

I’d take the NC, but narrowly. And if Texas wins this weekend, I might change my mind.
This was a weird, inconsistent season for Texas basketball. And I already feel a lot better about it after 3 wins.

Normally I would go with a Baseball Natty.
But this current version of Texas Men’s Basketball making the Final Four would be so incredible from a trolling perspective..
Epicness would ensue.

Final 4 and not remotely close.
College baseball is a terrible watch

Not the worst question. Lots of votes on both sides.
I am taking the national title. There are no moral victories in the tournament.

But would you take A or B? That will answer the question more appropriately in my mind of how close is Baseball to Basketball in your mind.

I would take a baseball title over a Final Four for the reason I stated earlier. A Final Four is great, but a baseball title is better than a "just miss" in basketball. You don't celebrate making a semi-final in any other sport.

Totally honest in saying I'd rather have another cross country title. Men or women. lol
