Not a serious question. Final four. Baseball? If a tree falls in the woods does it make a sound?

OU has a bunch of both but give me the Natty.

You can still get to the natty in my scenario

winning a college baseball natty would be the equivalent of a winning an ice hockey or wheelchair basketball championship trophy to me, so I'd go with the Final Four.
This.
If broken down to percentages of importance in college athletics,
75% Football
20% Basketball
5% Every other sport, including baseball.
I guess if it's something you think your school could legitimately win a NC in you think it's more important because people like to win anything...even if most everyone else couldn't care less. I'd be happy if Bama won a baseball natty, sure, but it would be the equivalent of a softball or gymnastics natty.

I agree with this completely. I don’t care about basketball. I understand it makes money and is important to the school. I would rather win a baseball CWS all day long over a basketball final 4 but i would like to keep basketball around for the benefits. However if you guaranteed me 3 more CWS titles, I’d completely tank the basketball program forever. Thats how much I like baseball and don’t care one way or the other about basketball.

Final four.
No one cares about college baseball.
No one cares about college baseball.

Don't know why anyone would choose anything other than a championship. I'd much rather that than just a final four appearance.

Fair enough.
I guess at the end of the day it's pretty cool that we all support programs that have the ability to offer something different for each of us to enjoy.
And if you choose to follow any particular sport, you're in a conference that's among the best at it.

Having witnessed both, I would say baseball national championship every single time. But I can understand why some may disagree.

I would rather win a super regional than final four appearance.

As a Carolina fan that final 4 run was much more fun and memorable than any of SCs 3 straight natty appearances
I dont see how you can say this. Holy shite those games against A&M, UVA, and UF game one were classics. I still have yet to see any games have the on the edge of your seat play of the UVA and UF games.

I used to prefer basketball. But, I can't stand the way that the game is played now. So, gimme baseball.

10 days outside in Omaha during the summer or 1 game in Indianapolis in cold March/April - give me the CWS all the time every time -
Final Four Cities - most hosts
6 New Orleans
5 San Antonio
5 Atlanta (Omni Ga Dome MBZ)
4 Indianapolis

Final 4. Baseball is great, but a final four carries a respect college baseball will never match.

Natty in any big 3, over some consolation prize in another one - any time, and every time. No brainer.
