If LSU gets expelled from the league in order to keep the Louisiana market.

Would make the league more competitive

I literally LOL'ed. LSU isn't getting kicked out of the SEC.

I'd love to see how the SEC kicking LSU out of the conference would work out for them.

Louisiana market.
I know it's a troll and therefore my answer will be obvious. There is no market outside of LSU.

Doesn’t Louisiana’s population continue to shrink every year?

Would be the dream scenario tbh, New Orleans trip instead of Baton Rouge is like

It would, but I hate the idea of losing a cupcake game from the schedule with this new 9 game conference slate.

No, they do not generate enough revenue.
Next question

I don’t believe the league would expel LSU under any circumstance. LSU is the SEC and at the moment being ill advised by hot heads within the power structure .
The SEC as a league cannot afford to back down from this insurrection on LSU’s part. The full weight and power of the conference both politically and financially will be wrought against LSU to bring them back into the fold.

There are LSU fans who truly believe LSU is bigger than the SEC and all the other league members. They truly believe they will win a 1 against 15 fight against the rest of the league.
And now apparently some of them are running LSU.

I hope some cooler heads prevail at LSU and realize the bad PR this is causing for them. After this year, none of this matters. The 2022 class will be gone and the new SEC rules will be firmly in place. Yes, LSU will probably win Thursday in court and LSU can decide whether to play those few players against Clemson or further down the road .
Kiffin will get what he wants but it’s the respect of the rest of the league which LSU loses.

Kiffin cares nothing about the SEC or LSU. Every decision is based on what he thinks is best for Lane Kiffin.
