He needs to take the Plumlee and Altmeyer route and transfer to a place like Illinois or UCF.

Arch would be smart to go to ULM, UCA type play and study under a starter for a year or two. I’m stunned he’s as bad as he actually is.

I doubt any of the schools you listed are interested in them. Who wants the Manning family breathing down their neck knowing it’s the last chance to ensure Arch becomes successful and get drafted? He’ll probably go somewhere in Big 12 or ACC. He might actually do good at Texas Tech.

The hotel his family is building at the campus is all geared around Arch and Manning family themes along with Texas sports

They won’t want to handle that kind of embarrassment unless this gets a lot worse

I'm assuming he has a contract. Both he and Texas are tied together for the long haul.

Smart family - he is set for life

Who'd want him? You'll get a mediocre QB along with tons of drama. Why give yourself the headache? For better or worse, horns and Arch are married.

No doubt, his absolute worst possible scenario is running one of the companies hotels at the end of his football career with at least 10 million in the bank

It is not a bad situation for him, even if his football career winds up being a disaster

Milroe has his deficiencies, but his skillset was a perfect counter to Georgia and LSU’s schemes. There’s a reason he went 4-0 and won 3 of those games by himself

First of all, Arch hasn't lived up to the hype so far, not even close. That said, none of the hyped up QB's for this season (including multi-year starters on playoff teams last year) have not panned out so far.

The bad news for the rest of the conference? Arch really isn't that bad and has made some big time plays this year to sort of balance out his frick-ups, and will only get better week to week.

Bad news for Longhorns fans? Our O-line is hot garbage, and the depth of our interior D-line is now suspect.

He isn't leaving and he won't be benched.

He will continue getting better. He's a RS Sophomore.

Or option 4 Arch was generationally over hyped by the media and was setup to fail miserably and his story isn’t finished being written.

Can anyone name one other time where a q was the betting heisman favorite entering their first year as a full time starter? Or even one who started 3 games all time against unranked opponents?

Don’t think he had a choice.

Imagine how easy it is to negatively recruit if sark benched him before the season or even now.

If you go to Texas they will bench you the second you have a bad game, even with a piss poor Oline and no run game!

At least now you can tell recruits you have a chance to compete and we won’t yank a qb due to a few bad games.

Now if he is worse the rest of the season I expect an honest qb camp battle for next season and if he loses he should be the backup

Who are the best QB developers, in terms of developing prospects for the NFL, in college football right now?

David Cutcliffe can't do it for the Mannings anymore. Honestly Huepel seems like he can coach up a QB really well, but I don't think he'd want Arch. Any smaller programs with QB whisperer coaches?
