I have enjoyed most of my trips. I really like the back and forth with other fans.
Love Athens(it's been hell on the field though lately), but most everyone is there to party and I can get behind that.
Columbia is fun too, I'll never forget walking down from the upper deck during 2011 and a Carolina fan was talking to his buddies and they kept saying "we just can't beat Auburn"
Tuscaloosa is great, good food and people. If the game is close or you take the lead at any point the "WTF" silence feeling around the stadium is hilarious.
I love Starkville, those folks can get down, and every other time we go down there, they suck and we get cheap tickets.

I've heard some horror stories about Gainesville.
don't be one of those that pass rumors around. damn auburn fans excel at that.
I have been to Gainesville several times and have had great times with Gator fans. no problems whatsoever except the damn heat at the game.

Georgia. My god Georgia. Took my baby to his first game this year and grown men started barking in our faces and made him start crying. He was 8 months old at the time. Punched dude in the face and nobody else bothered us much after that.
well, that's not a place for an 8 month old dummy. and they don't bark "in your face" no more than tiger fans tiger bait "in your face" or gator fans do the chop "in your face". it's all in good fun; some get a little too close due to alcohol but I doubt any person would get in a baby's face. and you so say punching one in the face is BS

Enough said...
Even Florida Fans will admit they are shite.
I've been to many games in Baton Rouge and can say I've never had a bad experience.

2003 post game in Oxford. Just a bad group of idiots. Followed our group the entire way to our parking area chanting shite at us.

But inside the game, we had batteries thrown at us...legitimately AA batteries (multiple) thrown at our crowd in the stands.
No you didn’t

A trip that everyone should try to make that most don't because of distance is Fayetteville. We had a great time up there.......other than Leigh Tiffin missing 16 extra points and field goals.
Have been to every Alabama game in Fayetteville since 2006. Always a great time. 2010 was by far my favorite weekend there.

Hands down, Arkansas in Little Rock. Shitty stadium. Shitty fans. Cold and rainy. Fights breaking out all over the golf course surrounding War Memorial after the game. Turrible

The only one that sticks out is UGA. I had an excellent weekend there and everybody was more than nice. I was in an all Georgia section with my cousin so our purple and gold stood out a bit. This was in 2009 I believe, where we won with like 10 seconds to go, so we were celebrating like any fan would. This old frick turned around and put his hands on me and told me to "get thuh fuuuuuk outta herr". I looked around to see if anybody saw this nonsense, and every uga fan turned a blind eye. Pansies.
But like I said, the uga students were more than nice hanging out with us and letting us tailgate with them. It's the older non alum losers that take that shite too seriously.

Only been to two. Fayetteville and Tuscaloosa. Both were excellent.
Went to see a Notre Dame game as a kid. They played Navy and beat them. That's the worst football stadium I've ever been to.

Tuscaloosa takes the cake for worst experiences. I’ve been multiple times and every single time people are complete assholes for no reason. I’ve been to every other SEC school except aTm and Mizzou and everyone is usually great and down to have a good time.

Vandy's stadium/atmosphere/fanbase sucks but nashville is cool.

You're missing out. Need to hit up UGA, Bama, Auburn, Tennessee, shite even Kentucky is great.
(those were my favorite in the SEC that I've been to)

On average going to Baton Rouge is the worse experience. The city is a dump, a larger than normal percentage of fans can be crude and rude.
The single worse game experience was in 1992 in Starkville. Shane Mathew's played his worse game as a Gator throwing 5 interceptions and the team lost 30-6. The bad part was getting back to the car with 30,000 rednecks rings cowbells in our faces.

I cant wait to see how they handle Baton rouge just because the last time we played for real was in 2012. We played in 2015 but it was supposed to be in SC but it was moved due to flooding.
I was at that 2012 game in Baton Rouge. That was one hell of an experience

Yeah I've been to one SEC road game, and a game between Southern Cal and Arizona in the Coliseum in 2015.

I can link a thousand posts from other schools saying the opposite about LSU fans.
