Let me know what you consider pathetic and I'll be happy to elaborate. There is a laughable amount of Alabama posters who want to indicate that the game was somehow balanced in the officiating... it wasn't... by any objective measure. As I said, this doesn't change the outcome, or excuse the breakdowns, poor play, or coaching decisions that led to it... but let's call a spade a spade.
There was a large contingent of Alabama fans on this board bitching about pick plays from the time that game ended last year and all through the offseason. It was the thread topic of the week multiple times.
There will be more than a few UGA posters who are going to struggle with the same thing in this game. It was unbalanced, that isn't really arguable... hell most of the better Alabama posters not only admit it but are happy to do so. You guys have been fricked by poor officiating plenty in the past. As I said... it happens. Time to move on. Happy with the ride we had this year... it vastly superseded any expectations I had to start the year.

Anyone who does a Google search will discover that the large number of crucial bad calls in Bama's favor is a national story. The Sporting News, Micjigan Live and several other neutral observers agree.

I'll call a spade a spade on the "on both sides" crowd from Bama, but I'll do the same to UGA posters who make dumb comments.
You don't typically see articles written about teams that won and how they overcame terrible officiating. There wasn't much written about the UGA win in the SECCG, where the officiating was pretty poor as well. It's just not interesting... it's more like "oh well". Alabama winning and any controversy whatsoever surrounding it on the other hand... that shite sells.
And to claim that Alabama is somehow a fraud is ridiculous... if anything, it probably proves that Nick Saban is capable of making poor coaching decisions as well... he let Jalen Hurts start the entire fricking season with Tua clearly more than capable of outperforming him.
- Ended up working out perfectly for him.. we seemingly didn't have a gameplan for what to do if he came in, and he played very well...

You don't think the officials sucked and there were multiple missed calls on both sides? Obviously the punt block thing was the biggest in terms of its result on the game - but these officials were very bad on both sides.
Not that it matters to me due to the result and not an attack on you, i'm just curious because i felt that these officials were very bad.

That Calvin Ridley touchdown.... It was suppose to be Najee Harris touchdown, but a Georgia defender was holding him in the endzone. Whyyyyy wasn't that called??

HArd to tell based off just the still photo. Harris could also be impeding 45's access to the ball.
