On that crucial 4th down to tie the game a Bama receiver was almost pulled down by his jersey.

Could have easily been 1st down and goal if the refs called an obvious defensive holding

ON THAT CRUCIAL 4TH DOWN IT WOULD BEEN 4TH AND 15. DOUBT YOU SCORE ON US.

Which is tougher, 4th and 15 or 2nd and 26?

If the refs really wanted Bama to win, why didn't they overturn that 80-yard TD pass Fromm threw? That was a perfect opportunity for them. That WR was so close to stepping out of bounds that it really could have gone either way, so the refs could have taken points off the board for Georgia and maintained a level of plausible deniability. But, they let it stand. Why do you think that is?

Wait until Saban starts showing up at recruit's houses with 6 NC rings. Word is several UGA players are already regretting their decisions and won't be in Athens in 2018

Don't get in the middle of this Bama/UGA love affair. It's currently helping UGA posters cope with their loss.

I agree on missed judgement calls but they also missed several procedure calls which are a lot more glaring and noticeable as a frick up. False starts and offsides specifically are not hard plays to judge as you have to move before the hike. fricking those things up are unacceptable. Calling pass interference or holding etc are not really things you can argue much about. That being said, and as piss poor as some of the officials were- they still didn't allow a guy to get deep on 2nd and 26. We shite the bed just as bad as the officials and Bama took advantage like a good team should.

THE REFS STOLE A BLOCKED PUNT FROM US. WE WOULD HAVE DENIED THE PENALTY AND GOTTEN THE BALL ON THE 5 AND SEALED THE GAME.

Oh boy. Somebody needs to brush up on their rule book. This is elementary stuff. False start is a dead ball penalty. If they throw the flag for it then the play never happens, Bama backs up 5 yards and they punt the ball again.

He post on the UGA board, are you sure he is LSU fan

I legitimately don't know. He's posted as a UGA fan as far back as I can remember... but more importantly, he's repeatedly made himself out to be an idiot... I tend to lend more credence to this point indicating he's an LSU fan. Bitching about refs in an OP seems to confirm it.

If they had called the two Targeting penalties for helmet-to-helmet contact UGA would have lost a starting DB and OLB. The way their D wilted in the 2nd half the game would have never come down to a kick.

Enjoy it while it lasts Bama, you're not getting the recruits anymore and Saban is old as hell. You won the game because the officials can't do their job properly. I truly feel sorry for you pathetic rednecks because once Saban goes will there be any other reason to be interested in your state or substandard school? UGA's time is here, we should have won. It's all going downhill for you

What a great melt. This is what I expect from snowflakes, other Georgia fans take note.

I get it. I've been mad about missed calls when we lost before. But as has been pointed out repeatedly the refs missed calls on UGA as well. It happens. Its part of the game

This is my favorite thing in the world. Alabama fans saying "it happens. it's part of the game" after spending the entire offseason bitching about pick plays after last year's finish on what was objectively a judgement call... rather than simple procedural penalties that had a dramatic impact on the game in their favor this year.

I'm not here to bitch about the penalties, but this "on both sides" nonsense has got to stop. Just like UGA fans like OP need to "Harden the frick up" and deal with it... Alabama fans need to own that the officiating was unbalanced in their favor, and not by a small margin. As you said... it happens. Congrats on the win.

Clemson ran 100 plays of offense last year with 0 penalties. That was against the best pass rush in the country. People that cry about refs in sports are the absolute worst. Y'all lost because Fromm threw a bad interception and Kirby got conservative afterward. shite happens

THE difference is there was a video review moron! let's say hypothetically the calls against UGA were under video review. How you think that would've gone dipshit? You are truly an idiot.

After having the best pass rush in the country in 2015-2016, and never seeing a holding call, it was redemption.
