The firing that pisses me off to this day is Freeze. He’s going to be successful at Auburn. He should have been suspended for the 2017 season but not fired

You guys are so much better off without him.

You will never convince HJJ of this.

We are extremely lucky to have Keith Carter as our AD who went out and hired Lane, which put us back on the path Freeze had started us down. It worked out in the end but if Kiffin left, I would want Carter to throw the bank at Freeze to come back.
Not that in think he would actually take it or that we would offer

LSU pushing Saban out was a real tragedy.

you could add Frank Broyles to the Mizzou list

Lou Holtz won a natty at Notre Dame.

It’s a huge liability to have a sexual deviant at the top of the program. You’re better off.

While he wasn’t fired, Lincoln Riley used OU like a stepping stone program. He is now ranked higher than OU in the AP poll.

Lou Holtz left Arkansas and a few years later won a national championship at Notre Dame. (Before my time so you can correct me if I missed something)

I think all the coaches we have fired didn't do much anywhere else.

Pete Carroll at usc. Unlike saban at bama or spurrier at usce Pete didn’t have a successful college run prior to his usc hiring

Not football but Bruce Pearl would be ours.

It was definitely a similar issue where we just wouldn't pay him but he was only here one year finished 5-4.
Devine was here 12 years and did a boatload for the University. when we did it to him
Also would rather have had Devine from 58-70 than Broyles from 58-76.
If Arky claims that '64 chip we'll go ahead and claim the '60 lol.
One thing though is that the University really seems to be determined not to let the same thing happen with Drink as we have been giving him tons of money and asap.

Arkansas has legit claim to 1964. As for Missouri 1960, I have no idea.

1960 Mizzou was #1 in both polls and got spanked at home by Kansas.

Well he certainly did at LSU.

I would take Kiffen 11 times out of 10 over Freeze.
