Since the last time Texas played for a CWS title, and lost, the following teams have been to at least 2 CWS Finals.

LSU
South Carolina
Florida

Vanderbilt has been to 4 CWS Finals during that time, winning 2.

when do we move that cut off year up?

In the current environment with the portal and NIL, I would say the last 5 years.

Does LSU also have the most CWS titles in that timeframe?

We have 4 (3 if you don't want to include the 2000 title)

I know a few other SEC teams have 2. Also some teams from other conferences like OSU.

Does any else have at least 3?

Regardless of your view on CBB, LSU’s run of NC’s is pretty impressive with talent being spread out.

There have been great teams never winning a NC

Damn. Imagine how far ahead LSU would be if it included the 90’s.

yes, baseball is a spring sport. He was a senior in high school in 2020 and enrolled as an LSU student in the fall of 2020. NIL wasn't a thing yet

This is when you know dumbass Vol fans just started watching college baseball 4 years ago

SInce 1980 which is the last 46 years. LSU has over double the national championships in college baseball than anyone else. That's ridiculous.

Hell Alabama football only has 7 since 1980.

just comparing it to LSU baseball which has been more impressive with 8. Didn't need mulligans like bama football.
