The big winner is that it opens up recruiting in TX for other SEC teams. Saban already recruits TX.

Does this mean Texas High School football is the best?

LSU. This does nothing but hurt LSU in recruiting. They are now just one of several solid programs out west, and their recruiting will suffer. However, the Bama move to the east will definitely lift moral and keep hope alive.

We get like 1-4 players a year from Texas, the same shite was said 10 years ago and its just as much bullshite now, if not more. We recruit more nationally than we did even 10 years ago, LSU will be great in recruiting,as we always are.

Will make it easier, you will have more exposure in Texas now than you have had since before the internet was a thing. You may not get the players that are going to TU and A&M, but you will get the ones going to TCU, Baylor, etc.. This is a good thing for Arkansas

LSU will benefit greatly from a pod set up. It'll be much harder for Bama to continue to send them back to the dark ages whenever they start to experience success if we don't play every year.

You can not make a living off recruiting OK, now more schools with clout are going into TX. OK will have to open up more east of the MS.

As for the other sports, no big deal.
No it won't. It opens up Texas, Baw.

Yes, but the future will require just recruiting a handful of recruits east of the MS. OK would be fricked if TX and Ok St joined the SEC.

Florida loses by facing Alabama, but they win in a few ways. Expansion won't be a topic for a few years and that means no FSU/Miami. Also, if the SEC profile is raised, that gives a competitive edge in recruiting in-state over the other two schools. Not that Mullen seems capable of capitalizing on it, but maybe the next guy will.

2007, LSU
2008, Florida
2009, Bama
2010, Auburn
2011, LSU
2012, Bama
2013, Auburn
2014 Bama
2015 Auburn
2016 Bama
2017 UGA
2018 Bama
2019 LSU
2020 Bama

During Sabans tenure at Bama from 2007 to 2020

SEC titles
Bama 7
LSU 3
Auburn 2
UGA 1
Florida 1

LSU does not have a loosing record to anyone over that time save Alabama, who we are 4-11

Played for NC 3 times won 2 of those.

Losses against Bama in 2012 cost us a shot at the SEC title in 2012 and the loss in 2015 when both teams were undefeated sent LSU into a tail spin, Miles saving his job somehow with the win over Aggie in 2015. I would say that loss cost LSU a shot as well at the SEC.

During Saban's tenure at Bama, great, historic run, but LSU has been the 2nd best program over that time period in the SEC hands down.

You don't seem to understand what I just told you.

And Oklahoma will never be "f*cked" if "TX and Ok St joined the SEC". That makes zero sense and you clearly don't know what you're talking about.

It will help recruiting in Texas as schools such as Baylor, TCU and Tech can't compete unless they are in a power conference. Arkansas climbs up the pecking order.

Oklahoma doesn't recruit the state very at all since they get players not just from Texas but all over the nation. Nothing changes here.

So Texas appears to be banking on two things; NIL buying players, Saban retiring and Bama hiring some turd like they would hire.

I assure you all, we'll get the right guy

All of you listen up. Everyone.... old and new.

Bama won more championships than any of you before Saban, during Saban, and will continue to do so after Saban.

So your best bet is to be respectful... Keep it respectful, and don't let any wierd hypothesis about Bama's coming decline cause you to run your mouth and thereby overload your arse.

We have a large sample size now... Over 100 years ... And the verdict is in. Bama rules the conference and this nation. And you can bring in ten Texases and fifty Oklahoma's and it won't change that

Comprende?

Also hurts Aggie which is good. Plus, Texas will be trying to establish themselves in the Eastern SEC footprint and may take less kids. This definitely helps Arkansas. We already play the hardest schedule year-in year-out. Maybe we can just have a top-10 hardest schedule now.

We've had five win national titles if that's what your asking. Five coaches.
