Well we usually have playoff blowouts in every other sports league, so why would FBS Football be any different?

Of course we will, which is why we need playoff expansion so we can have more!

Sure looks like it. Last year's games were pretty bad, and the matchups this season look worse.

Yeah, that one's going to get ugly in a hurry. I'll be surprised if Oregon wins by less than 40.

You don't think JMU with a Sagarin SOS of 104 can hold up?

Weird, that graphic has Notre Dame at #3. That from a different year?

I don’t seem to see Tulane on that list.

It’s a night game in Eugene. It’s going to be bad enough that the G5 AQs might get reconsidered hopefully.

They're way down the list at #46.

46 Tulane A = 74.18 11 2 65.48( 72) 0 1 | 0 1 |

72nd SOS, 0-1 vs Top 10/Top 30.

The G5 automatically qualified is more about protection from lawsuits than anything else. Whether or not we like it? It probably can't go anywhere.

Which ultimately wouldn't be a problem even with only an 8 team field. Five conference champions and the top three at large teams still wouldn't leave out anyone with a deserving case for a national championship

The group of 5 does not belong in the playoffs. Period
