Also, the fundamentals of basketball aren't being taught like they should.

Why? It's not like they use them in the NBA anymore.

The dunk ruined basketball as a legitimate sport.

I, and other non troll lsu fans, have wanted Keatts or Wade
LSU Alum here. Former GBFTL & LSU Basketball Band drummer in the glory 80 and 81 seasons.

Crean was too evolved and expensive for Alleva, what with the Indiana background, but that would have been the best hire.

Musselman, Wade and Prohm were on my list. Stansbury and Davis a little too aged.................

He will be a bust. He came from La Tech like Jim Wooldridge.

And like you noted earlier, if you come from the same school as another coach who didnt work out, you have no chance.

That wasn't my point.

Just similarities, due to some success at VCU.

I thought this was a joke but.... why not just hire smarts ex wife to be your coach same difference. LSU talks much junk but underwhelmed everyone again with yet another substandard coaching hire

Whatever helps you cope with the fact that your team failed to score a bucket in the last 3:00 of the game when they had UNC on the ropes.

But, like most mid-major hires, it's a crapshoot whether that translates to a big league

True. Of course at this point a truly competent basketball coach is nice.

What kind of personality does Will Wade have? Does he bring energy and excitement with his youth?

I felt like Grant was a boring, low key guy that brought zero energy to the program. Grant just wasn't a good fit. Way too many times I wanted to throw my coke at him from the stand to see if he'd get up off his arse and show some emotion during a game.

He is a very jittery/excitable guy. He did not even play college basketball, he just is a basketball junkie that loves/researches the game. He has nothing in common with Grant. It is very lazy to compare them
