Looking certain now that Wade is the guy. Risky hire, he wins, he'll leave, he loses, they'll be back here in 3 years.

Damn nice hire LSU. Shocked that AD of yours actually made what looks to be a good hire.

They were smart not to bark up the Tom Crean tree.

Crean was the type of hire we needed after Brady.

True, but after their hiring of lOl, anything was possible.

For the time of the hire, this is the most excited I have ever been for an lsu hire in any sport

Archer and hallman I was too young

Dinardo I figured he couldn't be any worse, but thought he was mediocre

Saban I thought would be ok. No way did anyone think he would be the GOAT

Didn't like the smoke hire at all

Thought Les was very average when hired

Maineri I thought was a good hire

But I have been saying this is who I wanted all along. I love how Wade is young, and I love how he isn't an ex player. He approached the game with an analytical approach. It isn't some bullshite go with your gut unwritten rules shite

I am pumped.

Lol. Good hire? Sure. Great hire? We'll see in a couple years.

He hasn't done anything of significance yet.

Like I have said a million times, UK is the only program in the sec that will ever be able to hire a proven great coach

In response to him not knowing the recruiting area... last year at VCU he signed the best player from one of the better programs in LA (Malik Crowfield from Riverside). So he's been up and down I-10 at least once in his life.

Which is why I said hold off on the 'great hire' stuff until he coaches for LSU, may be he'll buck the VCU bad coach trend. Lord knows we need more good coaches in the SEC with Billy Kennedy and Mark Fox running around.

Louisiana has plenty of athletes in all sports to be good. Arkansas would know nothing about that so I don't hold it against you.

I thought this was a joke but.... why not just hire smarts ex wife to be your coach same difference. LSU talks much junk but underwhelmed everyone again with yet another substandard coaching hire

Substandard hires? Really? How about your embarrassing football hires? One was having an affair and getting in accidents on motorcycles and the other has been a freaking reality show joke that got his arse blown off by yaw yaw orgeron.
