If I recall correctly, wasn't he being praised and celebrated at McNeese?

I don’t think anyone cared outside of Louisiana.

Sounds like tPear is the king of the Haters Ball. If it ain't against the rules, don't hate the player, hate the game. Sounds like a bunch of bitches in the top 20.

This summarizes the hate for wade since day 1. It was fine for Coach K, Rick Pitino, et.al. to pay players, but it wasn’t okay for Wade to do so. Why, because “equity”? Get outta here. it was dumb when that wine-drunk bastard dick vitale went on his campaign, and it’s MUCH dumber now in the NIL era.

He's also salty that Wade took his point guard.

No way Coach K was clean.

Anyone who thinks that coach k didn’t pay players (or even that he wasn’t aware of it) owns the The Blind Side on dvd, saying that it is a great and historically accurate film

In the dirtiest sport on the planet Will Wade has separated himself from the rest.

Even a Vegas gambling site has called his morality into question.

That is like Heinreich Himmler calling someone out for being too anti-semitic.

If people don't like the rules, they should lobby to change the rules.

It is a multi-million dollar business. Those that want to stay in it and excel will leverage the loopholes to give them an advantage.

Half the things Saban did at Bama to sustain a competitive advantage were things he preached against as bad for the sport. You don't have to like it, but it is a part of the game.

I don't really follow basketball, did Wade leave the sport at some point?

Yes, he was forced to leave power 4 coaching while he served his 2 year show clause penalty. As soon as it expired he left McNeese and took the NC State job.

The original comment mentioned college basketball as a whole though.

College basketball isn't P4 only.

Look at sidewalker trying to equate all levels of basketball as the exact same. That will be part of the LSU playbook with Wade. Who cares that he got a show cause, he was still in basketball. And who cares that this recruit has foregone his college eligibility to enter the draft, basketball is basketball. Who cares that this recruit has signed contracts with two different NBA teams, he didn’t play much, and basketball is basketball. And who cares that this recruit has played 6 years of professional basketball, it was in a different country, basketball is basketball.

I can already see that sidewalker is going to subject everyone here to this until Wade is fired or the NCAA kicks him out of basketball again.

Are you saying that non P4 conferences aren't "college basketball "?
