Regardless of the violations. Cal still pulled a better recruiting class and lost a home game to WW. Not to mention, better previous recruiting classes on roster...

I don’t know. There’s also a huge difference in rosters. Probably impossible to measure the difference in exceeding expectations.

Will Wade deserves COY but he won't get it.
This is no difference than Gene Chizik deserving COY back in 2010 when the brought AU their first NC in +50 yrs.

I wonder how many pushing for Wade for COY were opposed to Pearl winning it last year for something done by an assistant coach that didn't involve recruiting.
