IDK. If Smart’s teams’ talent level falls off, his staff starts literally fighting each other, and he becomes totally non-competitive with elite teams, then he will get fired just like Richt.

Yay, this thread again. Richt’s first 5 years were great. He was fired for his last 5 years which would be good enough for Aggie but not UGA.

An A&M mocking UGA is rich. Richt had about 6 seasons that would be in your school’s top 5 since the 60s. Kirby’s already had 3 or 4. The last time y’all beat us Eisenhower was president.

What part of the second paragraph, where I pretty clearly said we are ALL waiting for that little man to leave, struck you as a troll?
A few days ago, I saw a post by someone complaining that this board used to be good for actual discussion, but has descended to where 80% of it just trolling and other garbage. Now, I’m thinking he undershot it, if anything.

I doubt Kirby does better than third in the West, not exactly apples to apples when talking about Jimbo and A&M.

Pretty sure few readers interpreted the OP as “now”, since the very first clause was “If they CONTINUE to be very good”.

lol UGA started a 4th string walk on QB and had a better game than A&M. Not sure how they’re in the same boat when UGA won the SEC in year 2 and Jimbo hasn’t won his division yet. Also, didn’t Smart beat Jimbo in 2019 with that abortion of an offense?
