Will UGA enact the Richt Plan with Kirby?

If they continue to be very good, but just can’t get over the hump, do they lose patience with him the way they did Richt?
Or, do they just do what all of us are doing, ie, wait for that Keebler elf to finally retire to the treehouse?

It took 2 years for Smart to take UGA to the playoffs. How many years will it take Jimbo and A&M?

I think if they win the SEC next year it'll buy him a lot of time. If they don't then I think his seat will be a bit warm going into 2022, but he'd probably need 2-3 consecutive years of mediocrity (3+ losses) to actually get fired anytime soon.

If he keeps us in the SECCG 2 out of 3 years, he's here for life. If he's only making it every other year, it might grow stale. But there'd be a rock star waiting in the wings before we'd fire him, just like we did with the Richt firing, already having Smart loaded. Unlike what other teams have been doing- letting rogue drunk wife-slapping cigar-chomping wealthy donors on blood thinners dictate the program.
