They will not reschedule. Hell they didn't reschedule TEXAS vs AM last season. It'll get cancelled and that will be the last we hear about it.

they cancel game UGA and Bama would be ineligible to win SEC
That's what Sankey told LSU and Florida when that game had to be rescheduled
Divisions have gone away, tie breaker and cancellation policies have been updated since then. Both would remain elgible if the game were cancelled.

Except when they are playing each other in Atlanta in early December. Then, the grumbling will commence.

Would they ever move a game to Sunday?
LSU has had a game against Tennessee moved to a Monday after Katrina/Rita.
They had agame moved to Tempe AZ after Katrina
And they had a game moved from Columbia moved to Baton Rouge after flooding in South Carolina
They also had a game against Florida in Gainesville moved to Baton Rouge and postponed to the end of the season in 2016 because of a hurricane. Both schools also cancelled previously scheduled OOC games to make room for the postponement
There is a precedent to move games, but this would be wild considering the matchup, gameday being there, etc

I’m sure Stankey is on top of this.
Who do you think hijacked the HAARP hurricane machine to create this storm in the first place?

What’s a little rain and wind? Football weather. If on coast and hurricane incoming that would be different. I’m sure these teams can handle it.

I wonder if they’d consider moving the game to Tampa? New Orleans and Nashville both have Sunday games, Dallas, Atlanta, and Houston all have events on Saturday.
Of course, moving to an open air stadium that’s still likely going to get some rain or storms may not be worth it.

The logistics of finding travel and lodging for both programs at this point I’d imagine would be a serious challenge.

I would also think Sunday would be concerning, assuming Alabama (the state) wants to keep first responders free in case there are significant storm impacts to manage.
Maybe they could play Friday night?

If this was Athens being threatened with severe weather for a game vs Alabama, they game would have been moved to Tuscaloosa yesterday.

When did this happen? UTa won 27-17 last year.

This will piss me off royally (not that it matters). Our schedule is already dogshit this year, for the most part.

Sankey will move it wherever Lane Kiffin tells him to after Greggie’s pillow biting session today.
